I love a B&B with some personality and Frogtown Acres did not disappoint. You're not just another guest here. Joe and Gloria treat everyone like old, dear friends, even first-time visitors like me. I stayed in the Forge room, which was cozy and clean. Love the stonework and all the little decor touches scattered throughout the room. Speaking of personality,...

The word hospitality is a misnomer when used to describe any chain hotel or motel. However, when applied to the Frogtown Acres bed and breakfast, it is a complete understatement. When first greeted by full time owner/host and Amish groupie, Joe Crawshaw and his wife Gloria, you feel like you've been welcomed in by an old friend. Cheerfully pumping my...

I can't say enough good things about the warmth and comfort of this country inn. Always delicious, entertaining, peaceful and relaxing retreat. Joe and Gloria open their doors and hearts. We always welcome the neighbor's Amish visit. A must, every time, for our family and friends

As a previous reviewer has said, Frogtown Acres is a very restful and relaxing B&B but breakfast is certainly not quiet - we loved it! Joe takes great pains to ensure that all his guests are properly introduced and regales everyone with tales of his experiences. He is great fun and his wife, Gloria, is a charming lady. Breakfast seems...

We were guests for 4 nights at Frogtown Acres. We were looking for a quiet place out in the country instead of the near the highway. The location was about 10 minutes east of Hwy 30 and 896. The hosts Joe and Gloria were very accommodating with directions to get there and a lovely room upstairs in the inn. Each...

This place is charming, beautiful and so completely relaxing you will want to move in. The only thing we wish is that we lived closer to visit more often. So much love for Gloria and Joe - you will be well looked after! The rooms are beautifully decorated and the breakfast is first class.

This is a most unusual B&B, for starters. Joe and Gloria (owners and chief cooks and bottle washers) are retired educators who started this venture about eighteen years ago. They are warm and very well acquainted with their neighbors--in fact, if you desire, they can arrange a meal in an Amish home. Their Amish neighbors regularly drop by for coffee...

Matt and I have been to Frogtown Acres at least 4 times and have always had an excellent experience. The Hosts Gloria and Joe are wonderful people, they make you feel like family. The rooms are charming, clean and very comfortable. We have stayed in three of the four rooms. You will enjoy a private bathroom, some rooms have a...

We stayed in the Forge Room - one of four separate bedrooms with private bathrooms - in a separate building from Joe and Gloria's home. The room was tastefully decorated with colonial trimmings along with frogs in all shapes and forms. There were frogs to be found all over the property which had an abundance of charm and history. Breakfast...
