We stayed one night. Our room was on the 3rd floor, which was street level. Our room had inside corridors, but also a door to the outdoors. The area was safe, but something to consider. There was no full-service restaurant, but they had room service. We had the breakfast buffet in the morning and it was more comprehensive than a...

I have stayed here few times. The hotel is close to Villanova and other are colleges. It is a great location in a quiet neighborhood. The service staff is very friendly. The rooms are relatively large with a balcony and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is included with a variety. If there are no major events, the price is very...

Note that the accommodations are NOT in the lovely manor-type structure shown on the website. The rooms are in what feels like a slightly spiffed-up dorm - complete with commercial toilets, etc. BUT, even given that initial disappointment, the rooms were clean and quiet, staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was complimentary and nicely done. The shower in...

I have stayed here many times, bringing my daughter to and from Villanova. You can't beat the location in a gorgeous neighborhood less than a mile from Villanova. The staff has always been very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The decor might not be as "newly renovated" as some chain hotels, but...

We stayed at the conference center because it's close to the university and were bringing our son back to the university from Christmas break. Overall, the conference center is in a beautiful setting, and the pictures of the mansion on their website are impressive. However, in general, the whole place is very run down. Our towels had holes in them,...

The Villanova Conference Center is part of a Philadelphia "Main Line" historic property. This is an above-average place to stay in the Bryn Mawr/Radnor area. The VCC is a nice property, rooms are oversized, staff was very welcoming. It is in a great location (easy off 476 and the Main Line.) Cost of staying there is an amazing value, as...

The Mansion is old -- our room had mis-placed pictures on the walls -- dings in the walls -- very old carpeting -- However, the beds and the linens are first class!! The shower is updated and so is the sink in the bathroom. The location is perfect if you are visiting Villanova University. The grounds are gorgeous, even in...

The conference center is clean and spacious rooms. It has no restaurant on site or bar if that is what you are looking for. Ice must be obtained from the front desk. Breakfast is till 11am on sundays but all other days it is till 9am. Breakfast is adequate with a hot and cold buffet.

Great mainline location and excellent price given the location and accommodations. Nothing special except the lovely setting and location. Would definitely stay again. Previous negative review wanted luxury accommodations at budget price. We thought this was value for our money.
