We needed overnight accommodations while visiting Slippery Rock University, and since we knew we'd be at the motel only for sleeping, didn't want to spend an exorbitant amount. (There are only two choices: Evening Star & the far pricier Fairfield Inn.) Make no mistake: This is a bare bones motel, but the carpet was fairly new and the walls &...

We have a summer place very near this motel and pass it all the time. Sad to say I was under the impression that it was a run down, dirty, in and out kind of place. I could not have been more wrong than I was about this motel. We were going to be in the area for one night...

We went to PA to visit Family. We were going to try to go home, and decided an overnight stay would be safer. We were graciously greeted, welcomed and serviced. Actually, she inquired as to any elders in our group so that she may offer a warm room. Although we declined, the sentiment was nice. We entered to very clean...

If this was a big name brand hotel I would give it a 2. But, it's not. It's a "mom and pop" small business. Entire room was spotless, AC worked, clean, working small refrigerator, flat screen TV (that I did not watch by choice), 2minutes off of interstate, and very inexpensive. For these reasons, it's a 10 in my book...

A lot of times people bypass the road - side motels which appear older and run as a mom and pop business. This is one of those but I was please with the friendliness and cleanliness of the unit and how comfortable I was. The price was $56 per night for a queen bed. Coffee maker, flat screen, vending/ice were...

This was a great place to stop for a last minute stop or night of sleep. Even had a coffee pot in the room and a fridge. The price was worth it and it was off of the highway so I could not hear traffic all night. I was not looking for a fancy place just good nights sleep.

I travel a lot for work, and compared to other comparable motels this place is the best. Each time I stay here the staff is very warm and accommodating and the rooms, while not very new or necessarily up to date, are clean and comfortable. Just a 5 minute drive from SRU and not even a mile from I-79. For...

The motel is about 3-4 miles outside of town, but it is clean, the "check-in" was pleasant and quick, and it's a money saver when compared with the only other hotel options where you have to drive to Grove City to stay. This is about 1/3 the price of those hotels. There's a Dairy Queen about 100 yards from the...

If you want a clean but reasonably priced room this is the place to stay. Nothing fancy, a very clean, comfortable room, has a little refrigerator, flat-screen TV, comfortable bed, coffee maker. This is the first time I've stayed here and I will stay here again when I'm in the area. This is a well maintained older hotel, the room...
