Small rooms, small uncomfortable beds.. Ran out of eggs and orange juice for breakfast. Can do better elsewhere. There is a newer Hampton inn across town or a nice Hilton down the road. Definitely would check those out first

Most guest love this Hampton and our Hampton value. Our hungry guests surprise us sometimes but we usually react with a last minute menu change with equal value. This did not happen fast enough when you were hear. Please come back and ask for me or our Guest Service Manager when making your reservation. We want you to experience our...

If you are looking for a place with a nice outdoor pool you've found a nice place; however, if you plan to have any conversations with anyone during your stay be prepared to get a phone call from the friendly guest service desk. Maybe the Hampton Inn & Suites up the road is a better choice?

Dear meglynn93, Thanks for staying at Hampton In State College. Many enjoy the outdoor experience at our pool! It blends well with the lovely forested vistas of Central Pennsylvania! We do have a Quiet Room policy for the benefit of all guests. The walls do a pretty good job and the insulation is effective most of the time. You may...

I recently stayed with my daughter who was taking a week long post graduate course at Penn State. It is a wonderful hotel for its category of hotels. It is not a luxury resort but a wonderful home away from home. Breakfast was great. Pool was clean and had ample seating and nice surrounding. There's even a water cooler in...

We were here for a wedding so did not spend too much time in the hotel. Enjoyed the breakfasts and the beds were comfortable. The staff were helpful and attentive. We even found a little time to enjoy the pool.

Congratulations to your family's newlyweds! Although many visit us the first time for social, sports or business needs, keep in mind Central PA is a great place to hub & spoke with the endless list of outdoor attractions and activates. And for the off hours State College & Penn State have always been the place to dine and chill!! Please...

Good location. Friendly staff that is a little overwhelmed at times but they try hard to please. Parking is good. The hotel could have been cleaner; there was dirt around and on window, chair, and elevators. Desk chair did not go up and down, and was not usable. Got stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes and it was eventually...

Was in town for one day (June 13-14) for a conference at the Penn Stater (also a hotel), I missed the discount period to stay at the stater (would have been $129 for a single room) but all they had left was rooms for $149 or something. The Hampton Inn was 7 mins away and I paid $89 dollars (with...

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Good location. Nice coffee bar and breakfast/lounge area. We were in town during a busy weekend so selection was slim therefore we got a room with two full mattresses/beds. Sleeping with your spouse in a full mattress/bed is not pleasant and needless to say, we didn't sleep well. Not sure why hotels even...

We had a great stay in State College, PA at the Hampton Inn. The room was very clean, the outdoor pool was also clean and was a comfortable temperature to cool off on the 90+ degree day. The hotel is in walking distance from the Penn State Spike stadium and the Penn State University football stadium. The fellow at the...

The room rate is ridiculous, but it's a big college, and tourist town, so they have no problems getting it. I expected more luxurious surroundings, being a Hampton Inn, but everything was clean, maintained, and comfortable. The staff was utterly amazing, and made the price almost worth it. The complimentary breakfast among the best I've had! Very pleased at the...
