Our stay at the Garden Suite was incredible and that is because of the welcoming and lively hosts, Bruce and Jan, and their care of the inn. Go to breakfast with your appetite because you won't want to miss a single delicious course. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in our room and viewing the beautiful surrounding landscape and hope to go back soon!

This place is wonderful 😊 Bruce and Jan are the nicest people. They also make an OUTSTANDING breakfast. Four courses of yummy. I knew I couldn't finish it all, but I made sure to have some of everything. Glad I did. The Inn is beautiful. It is close to Shady Maple if you are in the Buffet mood. I will go back for sure and I look forward to seeing it in Full Bloom during the warm months.

We've been visiting the Artist's Inn and Gallery for the last 12 years and have had a wonderful experience each and every time. Jan's breakfasts are delicious and at Christmastime there are COOKIES; the rooms are well appointed and comfortable; and the artwork is fun! I think we could pass as a Bruce Garrabrandt art gallery, our home is covered with his work. The Inn is convenient to Reading and Lancaster and easy to find on 897. Added bonus: we love hearing the clippety-clop of the buggies and horses passing in the mornings.

We were only able to spend one night in this charming inn. We were papered from beginning to end. The Krishna Kringle room was lovely with a large bathroom and shower. I would have loved to have been there in summer to see the extensive perennial beds. The breakfast was amazing! Nothing negative from us except that the stay was too short.

My husband and I stayed here for our 25 th anniversary. It was an enjoyable and memorable weekend. The room was charming, clean and comfortable. Jan and Bruce were very welcoming and delightful to talk with. We met some really nice people while staying there. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Jan takes the time to pay attention to the little details. I think it makes you feel extra special. We look forward to staying there again.

Everything about this bed and breakfast is perfect. Both our room and bathroom were very spacious, well laid out, and had great bright lighting. There was plenty of storage and room to put out luggage. The color and hand painted designs on the walls were so warm and inviting. The king bed was very comfortable, and the linens in the bedroom and bath were top quality. Jan checked the room each day to make sure toiletries were restocked. There is both an upstairs sitting area and a large social room downstairs. The porch and patio looked very inviting, but it was a bit too chilly in November for us to enjoy them. There are lovely gardens and a firepit. The best part of all was Bruce and Jan (the owners) who were so helpful and friendly. We felt like part of their family.

Thank you so much...we truly enjoyed talking with you and seeing our area through your eyes. I'll be on the lookout for some more primitive shops - but remember the Blue Snickel for your next visit. I've bought a lot there over the years and think you would like it. Thank you again for your kind words.

We have stayed at the bed and breakfast once in the past and it was wonderful. So we decided to stay in the sister house sophia side. It was very clean and comfortable. The cookie jar was stocked with fresh baked cookies which were wonderful. The men couldn't stop eating them. All around this place was great!

Jan and Bruce’s Bed and breakfast was very nice. We stayed at the Sophie side of the house and it was quite nice and quiet. We went in and visited the bed-and-breakfast it self and had a great conversation with Jan. She gave us the name of a great restaurant for dinner. Will would definitely visit again if we are in the area.

We were antiquing in Adamstown and chose this B&B for our lodging. The owners were friendly and accommodating and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. They have thought of everything you might need and have decorated to go with the charm of the house. Breakfast was delicious - orange pancakes, poppy seed scones, sausage, watermelon, and chocolate zucchini bread. Our only negative was that you must drive 20-30 minutes to find a good restaurant for dinner. We would definitely come back if we return to the area.

Thanks for your nice review. We agree that Sundays and Mondays can be a bit challenging to find restaurants, especially with the staffing shortages. It seems that Covid has taken its toll on many small businesses. On other days of the week, there are two restaurants within walking distance of the inn, Shady Maple Smorgasbord is just 3 miles away, and lots more restaurants to chose from. We hope you can visit again.

Owners are friendly, accomodating, helpful with local eateries and fun places to visit. Room and adjoining bathroom were comfortable and met all our criteria. The breakfast was a highlight; we were treated like royalty. Lots of delicious food that even accomodated my gf and acid-free diet.
