We booked 3 apartments and the manager kindly upgraded it's to a 1 bedroom. It was situated looking out to the lovely garden setting by the pool. Architecture reminded me of a plantation home with shutters. We loved our stay here.

We stayed 3 nights in a lovely spacious upstairs apartment at the rear of the property that featured a balcony that overlooked a very nice pool area. Friendly local cockatoos would visit the balcony trying to entice some food from us. Although our apartment could do with a bit of a make-over, it offered a full kitchen and clothes washing facilities, and a comfy bed in separate bedroom. There was undercover parking outside our unit. Very reasonable tariff but a short drive to main town area.

Man at reception basically said here’s the keys your rooms over “there “ wasn’t interested in customer satisfaction at all Rooms along Shute harbour drive are very noisy from 6am till 7 pm as you have to open aluminium type shutter windows to get any light and there is no glass so the air conditioning has to stay on if you want to keep the room cool (thus letting in plenty of road noise ) bad design. Property is in need of a makeover, male manger/ owner didn’t show much enthusiasm, wouldn’t stay here again, probably try something in same area though as there is a pub and shops close by and it’s only 25 minutes casual walk to town BUT there is NO shade all the way so put on the sun screen or take the bus as there is a stop right out the front ($1.60) one way (5min) go to the yacht club nice view , cold beer after the walk on

Sorry if I /we failed you, I try to keep checking in as simple and painless for guests as possible as most have travelled a long way to get here and just want to get their key etc. Most love the shutters as provides fresh air or if closed at least 50 per cent of each room is glass.
