We stayed in the Hideaway. It is clear that the whole place has long-standing problems. There is clutter, unfinished projects and junk outside. Inside the accommodation is dirty, tired, and of poor quality. On arrival I phoned around all other options because I couldn't believe my eyes. I didn't want to stay there, but there were no other vacancies in... More

As a property owner I was embarrassed by some of the cleaning problems that the guest pointed out on the last day of their stay. If I had know the depths of her unhappiness at check-in I would have worked to find her another place to stay since she couldn't find it in her heart to give me a chance... More

I had another chance to be in the Narragansett area for two days last week and I happily returned to the Blueberry Cove Inn. The Shells Room on the 3rd floor has an en suite bath, small refrigerator, A/C (didn't need it) and a comfy King bed. It seems the owner has had some recent surgery and has been challenged... More

Hosts Seely and Dave are helpful, friendly hosts but the "Inn" was a big disappointment. I know from experience how much work it takes to update, decorate and care for a very old house, but this one is just plain shabby and in need of a lot more fixing up, painting decorating and TLC to warrant charging $243 per night... I'm sorry that the guest did not feel that the inn was a good value for her money. There are more expensive and less expensive options in the area. I hope she returns to Narragansett in the future as it is a lovely place to visit. We continue to make improvements and changes on a daily basis. Guest feedback (particularly... More

A potentially nice piece of property with a very good location just a short walk to the shore, lot's of potential charm, but sadly not kept up. When you park your car the area around the house looks as though there were lots of ideas for projects that were started and abandoned.... an awning over a deck was hanging sadly... More

I offer my sincere apologies for the things that disappointed the guest. I will have to check the paint on the floor situation. I thought I had gotten it up but unfortunately the previous owners put polyurethane over the original hardwoods without cleaning them first so she may be seeing "antique" spots. The Hideaway kitchen is about to be overhauled.... More

We stayed in the Lighthouse Whirlpool Room. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. It's a short walk to the sea wall and very quiet at night. Sealy is amazing and made us feel welcome.

Cozy and really nice place for a small but special wedding. Sealy, the innkeeper, is helpful and always on top of your needs. Property is close to the beach and restaurants. Older home with a lot of character. Highly recommended!

My husband surprised me for the second time taking me here, my birthday is Valentines day and we went for 2 nights. We stayed in the Light house room which is our favorite. I stayed at the Blueberry Cove Inn again last weekend and had a perfectly wonderful time. The Whirlpool Suite is on the first floor if you don't like to climb the stairs. It is a double size room with a very comfy queen bed (and the softest sheets) with a separate sitting room with a TV, mini fridge (used to... More

Very disappointing experience; the shortcomings were so obvious that my wife and I repeatedly asked how the other reviewers could gloss over the glaring deficiencies. I am offering this review in the hopes that other travelers to Narragansett don't make the same mistake that we did. While the owners were pleasant and the breakfast was adequate, we found the Inn... We stayed in the dog friendly two bedroom apartment attached to the inn. It was so private and quiet, it felt like home! The inn is only a short walk to shops, restaurants and the beach and is located in a lovely, tree-lined neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.
