My wife and I stayed at Escobar's Farmhouse Inn during my son's parent's weekend at Roger William's University. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and our Innkeeper Dawn was great! We had a wonderful suite in the Walter Room with a great sitting area, large comfy room and bed. Each morning we had excellent hearty breakfasts and conversation. Dawn had...

So MA has a three day residency requirement between the issue of a marriage licence and the actual marriage. In Rhode Island we did it in three hours. What's this to do with Escobars Farmhouse? Well when standing in the Town House awaiting the licence I was asked where in Portsmouth we'd be staying - no idea- but I was...

Although the inn looked beautiful in the pictures, the Katherine Suite and common areas of the inn still surpassed all of my expectations. Fantastic place for a relaxing escape from NYC with my friend and very close to the Newport beaches. The best part - Dawn the innkeeper. She went out of her way to make our stay exceptional. Can't...

Every year we spend a couple of summer weekends at Escobar's. The location is very convenient, near great beaches, Newport and Bristol. And the staff, Steward and Carly have always been friendly and helpful. We always look forward to our stays.

A lovely and caring staff, pretty and comfortable rooms and a unique "farm" experience. What's not to love? Go meet Mr. Escobar during cow-milking time and get a unique education! And breakfast was truly lovely.

We looked for a place to stay one overnight in the area of my grandsons wedding. Prices were extremely high and we did not want to spend a lot of money, which is very difficult in the Newport area. Escobars was a perfect place since it and very close to all the events. Stuart was gracious enough to let us...

Whilst this b&b isn't in the thick of things in Newport it is very well placed for touring Rhode Island and we had a fantastic relaxing 2 nights here. The host Stuart was attentive and provided excellent breakfasts, advice on the area, and cookies in the evening (fantastic - butterscotch). We stayed in the Mary room which was a great...

My daughter and I enjoyed 2 nights at Escobar's Farmhouse. Very pretty old farmhouse that was clean, comfortable and convenient. Breakfast was very good and plenty to eat. Surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and I would love to return there, definitely would stay again at Escobar's.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Escobar's Farmhouse Inn is owned by Jane and Louis Escobar, and run by Innkeeper Dawn. The inn is located across the street from Escobar's Highland Farm, one of Rhode Island's few remaining dairy farms. The farm was acquired by Louis' father in 1937. The Inn has always been a dream for Jane, and she has worked diligently for several years to create a comfortable "home away from home" for her guests. Each of the four rooms are named for Louis and Jane's parents, Tony and Mary Escobar, and Walter and Katherine Rzegocki. ... more   less

“One bedroom has the bath across the hall.”

“The Walter Room has two queen beds and a daybed, easily accommodating five friends -- it was lovely and spacious. The Katherine Suite, just down the hall, can easily fit a good-sized family -- it has a king bed, a queen bed, a double and a single -- AND has a full kitchen! Great for a family reunion or special occasion.”

“The Walter Room was a very large room and could accomodate a family. There was some road noise during the day, but was quiet at night.”

“The Tony Room does not have a private bath in the room. It has a private bath across a small hallway so if that bothers you, stay in one of the rooms with the private bath inside your room.”
