We’ve been staying with the Edens at least once a year for the past 16 years. Lloyd and Bernadette and their family are absolutely wonderful people. They always make you feel welcome and comfortable. They seem to know if you like to socialize a bit, or are a more private person who prefers peace and solitude. There’s plenty of room...

We felt very fortunate to have come across Eden Manor. It is indeed a very old house that could use some repairs, but we appreciated the experience of living for a few days in an old home from the 1840s, furnished and decorated from the same time period. Once we got to know our hosts, they turned out to be...

If you need a standard luxury cookie cutter place, this isn't it. Yes some of the furniture is a bit shabby, but we had a huge airy room with very high ceilings and the setting is lovely. Public spaces are lovely and generously sized, great porch to sit on facing and enjoy wine you bring in, hosts are gracious, very...

Spent a couple of days here with my three teenage daughters, we arrived and the door was open- went inside and found a note on table saying our suite was in back of dining room. We found our rooms just fine, the main room was very large with a comfortable double bed and the adjoining room had two twin beds.We...

We arrived like may of the guests to a note telling us where our room was located. A man was there at the hall table but apparently he was just a guest. We dropped our things off and headed to Newport for dinner. When we returned thankfully someone came in to drop off a fan. The no AC was rough...

Eden Manor has great potential. Driving down the entrance I was impressed with the potential, very eclectic old mansion. However on entering the room I realized that it needed serious updating; bed/mattress, electrical and bathroom. During the weekend I needed a few things (ice and ironing board) and it was hard to find help and it seemed that I was...

August 15th, 2015 , rented room. Arrived to find no host on the premises. Note on table found after searching telling us we had the room in back of the dining room. Large room, with adjoining small room with 2 twin beds. Twin beds not made up, bedding crumpled up on the floor. This room was attached to breakfast/dining room...

My husband and I had our wedding at Eden Manor in August 2014. Of the 14 rooms, our friends and family booked 12 of the 14. We all had a wonderful stay and the Eden's were perfect hosts. Their children even helped out the entire weekend for our wedding. We could not have been more pleased. The grounds were immaculate,...

We recently stayed for two nights at Eden Manor. The room was to be for myself, my husband and our 22 year old daughter. We were told that we would have a room upstairs that could accommodate all of us with a private bath. When we arrived, the owners left a note that we would be staying down stairs in...

Eden Manor is a run down bed and breakfast. Leaky plumbing around the toilet is just the beginning of this horrible experience. The woman who runs this place is rude beyond words and she creates a negative vibe that makes one want to run. We thought this would be a welcoming experience but its just the opposite. The owner actually...
