The Bloomsbury Inn is a wonderful step back into history. We stayed in the General Chestnut Bed Chamber. It is a large room overlooking the gardens. We arrived to find a snack of delicious cookies. Katherine and Bruce go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The 5:30 social was delicious and informative. My father was...

We totally agree...your stay was too short. We have so much to do in Camden (but, we hope you did Swan Lake) that you must come back. Thank you for highlighting the hard work of the Bloomsbury Team.

We have traveled widely throughout Europe, Africa, the South Pacific and North America. The Bloomsberry Inn is one of the finest properties we have visited. The hosts, Katherine and Bruce, are artful at the craft of being superlative innkeepers. They create a flawless team who work towards making each moment at the inn enjoyable. Their attention is born of a...

This sounds like magic...we want to go with you! Thank you so much for recognizing the Bloomsbury Team and all they do. When you come back, a less busy time than Excalibur, you must explore our great town. Camden is such a wonderful place to visit...you can experience all the history, horses and hospitality. We know Matt would like this,...

I only wish I could have stayed longer! I had reserved my stay in Camden as a close friend was having a wedding nearby in Sumter. I'm rather picky about the places that I will book, and experiences have led to me to favor bed and breakfasts-- it might also help that I work in the hospitality industry. There are...

We wish you could have stayed longer, too. I know you had a great time at the wedding, but you missed so much: Steeplechase Museum, Historic Camden, the parks, great dining and shopping. We can't wait to see you again.

What a great time we had! We traveled to Camden for a belated Valentine's stay. The inn was clean, beautifully decorated and welcoming. Bruce and Katherine are fabulous hosts, they made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed the 5:30 reception..delicious hors dourves and great conversation in a very relaxed setting. They also acted as...

I stayed at the Bloomsbury Inn with my daughter while we were in town for a horse show. Had a truly amazing visit. Katherine and Bruce are such an enjoyable couple to be around, and they do a top notch job of making sure all of their guest feel welcome. I needed to have my daughter at the barn at...

While on a carriage tour of Camden the tour guide mentioned that Bloomsbury ranked consistently in the top 4 bed-and-breakfasts in the country. Since we've stayed in a lot of b&bs, I wanted to know what made it so special. I found out. My husband and I went for an overnight for the anniversary of our engagement. Everything need and...

If you're considering a stay at the Bloomsbury, do it! Bruce and Katherine are exceptional and personable hosts whose attention to detail and quality make for a perfect visit. The house and grounds are gorgeous, and the front porch is a lovely and quiet place to sit and relax. Our room was amazing- spacious, bright, comfortable seating area, and impeccably...

We, too, hope you can return very soon. We love meeting new guests -- we love returning guests even more. We are having some beautiful warm weather for February; and, we are trying to be on the porch as much as possible. Thank you for your kind note and do hurry back.

Loved, loved, loved our stay at the Bloomsbury Inn! Bruce and Katherine are interesting people and they went the extra mile to make sure our stay was wonderful. Lots of extras, the social time with an appetizer, the makeup mirror in the bathroom, robes, cookies and candy, etc. Breakfast was delicious and the bed comfortable. It was a huge bedroom...

What a wonderful experience from the owners hospitality, to the locale, breakfast and bedroom, everything was first class, we will certainly visit there again.
