My husband and I stayed in this beautiful inn and couldn't be more happy. The innkeepers, Bruce and Catherine were attentive to all our needs, from a delicious breakfast to wine and appetizers on the wrap around porch in the afternoon. They truly embrace southern hospitality, and it was graciously shown to us during our stay.

I stayed here for a public speaking class and it was incredible. The nicest people with the most beautiful home. I have and would recommend The Bloomsbury in to anyone who visits Camden. The town is charming.

Thank you. You know we have a very fond relationship with the Buckley School of Public Speaking and highly recommend it for the savvy businessperson who desires to invest in being the best. We always enjoy the school guests, just as we did you, and are always eager for them to return. Until our paths meet again, happy speaking. k

Stayed at Bloomsbury for a Spring wedding in Camden,SC. The Inn was very nice, comfortable, clean and welcoming. Loved the porches and beautiful grounds. Innkeepers were very friendly and food was incredibly delicious. We will definitely stay at Bloomsbury again when traveling through Camden.

We stopped on our way home from Florida and my wife fell in love with the Inn and Innkeepers. Our room and for that matter the whole house was immaculate. I especially appreciated the multi port plugs on both sides of the bed and on the desk. Breakfast was awesome Bruce and Katherine's advice about the area was most helpful.

As you drove up you could see the property was excellently taken care of as was the building. When you entered the house you could also see the inside was immaculately maintained as well. The room was very clean and offered a number of nice touches in the room from a coffee maker to wine. The bathroom was spotless. Breakfast...

My husband and I traveled to Camden, SC for the Carolina Cup this past weekend. The horse race was fun, but Bloomsbury Inn was superb. Bruce and Katherine are wonderful Innkeepers, that make you feel like family. The Inn is gorgeous and well kept, with large comfortable rooms. The evening social hour is so relaxing on the front porch. There...

Smile. Smile. Smile. Thank you for noticing that we love Camden...who wouldn't! It is always our pleasure to have the house full of guests who enjoy themselves. We had to move social back to the parlor last Wednesday because it was below 60 degrees at 5pm. We are certainly hoping to be back on the porch by Tuesday. We hope...

Wonderful! All the beauty and elegance of a southern mansion with the conveniences of today! The afternoon social and delicious breakfasts were all that we could have hoped for. It is definitely a place to return to.

We are excited that you will return. Bloomsbury is a wonderful, historic home that retains her charms of yesterday, but offers what you would expect from any modern lodging. Thank you for noticing.

The Bloomsbury Inn is a wonderful step back into history. We stayed in the General Chestnut Bed Chamber. It is a large room overlooking the gardens. We arrived to find a snack of delicious cookies. Katherine and Bruce go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The 5:30 social was delicious and informative. My father was...

We totally agree...your stay was too short. We have so much to do in Camden (but, we hope you did Swan Lake) that you must come back. Thank you for highlighting the hard work of the Bloomsbury Team.

We have traveled widely throughout Europe, Africa, the South Pacific and North America. The Bloomsberry Inn is one of the finest properties we have visited. The hosts, Katherine and Bruce, are artful at the craft of being superlative innkeepers. They create a flawless team who work towards making each moment at the inn enjoyable. Their attention is born of a...

This sounds like magic...we want to go with you! Thank you so much for recognizing the Bloomsbury Team and all they do. When you come back, a less busy time than Excalibur, you must explore our great town. Camden is such a wonderful place to visit...you can experience all the history, horses and hospitality. I only wish I could have stayed longer! I had reserved my stay in Camden as a close friend was having a wedding nearby in Sumter. I'm rather picky about the places that I will book, and experiences have led to me to favor bed and breakfasts-- it might also help that I work in the hospitality industry. There are...

We wish you could have stayed longer, too. I know you had a great time at the wedding, but you missed so much: Steeplechase Museum, Historic Camden, the parks, great dining and shopping. We can't wait to see you again.
