The Lodge Alley Inn has the perfect downtown walking location: near the harbor, eateries, churches & historic sites. The accommodations are charming & the staff is friendly. Cookie & sherry time each afternoon is an elegant touch.

Lovely place right in the heart of everything in Charleston! Easy to walk to everything or you could ride the free trolley. The staff are very nice and helpful. It makes you feel if you are back in the 1800's with all the comforts of the 21st century.

Beautiful rooms, very friendly staff and very helpful. The original brick in the rooms is gorgeous. I stayed in a studio room, it was spacious. The view from our room was of the fountain which was also beautiful.

This hotel is located near several good restaurants which is good if this one of the major things you like to do on vacation. It is also close to shopping and other activities if you do not have a vehicle.

We enjoyed this property overall and will stay again. Valet attendants very friendly and professional. Front desk staff was helpful. The location is perfect and the property was really nice. Love the history and charm of the building but with older properties sometimes there are other issues. We had a studio room and it was clean and a nice size....

We stayed in a one bed room unit. It is very nice. High bed, gas logs. Separate living room. Microwave, big, small size refrigerator, 2 TV's, free coffee in room and in resort lobby. There is a beautiful courtyard. These are old buildings but very well maintained. They have valet parking. It is close to the market street market and...

Stayed for four nights in a studio that overlooked East Bay Street. If you're a Bluegreen member, the valet parking ($18/day with unlimited use) is the way to go as it is a few dollars cheaper than the pubic garage. The staff was extremely accommodating and helped us with everything we needed. The location of this place couldn't be more...

This is a nice resort that is in a great location. However, the management of the resort are complete idiots. Instead of locking the gates to the resort plaza, the moronic management of Lodge Alley allow the locals to literally walk through the resort and push guests (who have children) out of the way. This would be a 5 rating...
