The Vendue is an art gallery where it just so happens you can spend the night. It’s a treasure trove of surprises and a hotspot of good energy. Where excitement meets warmth and entertainment. It's a playground of intrigue, a stage for serendipity, and a celebration of the unconventional. Just across the street, The Enclave at The Vendue offers a captivating counterpoint. A sanctuary of exclusivity at a more mellow pace while still intertwining the thread of artistic flair that defines The Vendue. The Enclave extends an atmosphere of privacy, enriched by exclusive amenities, cultivating an atmosphere and aesthetic distinctly different from The Vendue’s vibrant pulse. Whether you're seeking a whirlwind of energetic delight or a more laidback respite, this hôtel des arts offers a tailored experience that hits the right note. Get ready to savor the art of choice and the thrill of diversity. That's The Vendue way, always in good spirits, and forever ready to delight!

The hotel was perfect for my husband and I for a quick getaway to celebrate his birthday. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We loved the treats throughout the day, and the wine samples. The location was great too, close to the water and also close to great places for food and drinks. The people who worked at the hotel were also very helpful. We would definitely go back!

We loved our stay at here for so many reasons. In the heart of everything we wanted to do and see in the French Quarter, the Vendue felt hip, festive, and fresh. The consistently personable staff went out of their way to make our stay just right!

We loved The Vendue! What a perfect location in the historic district of Charleston. No request was not met and they checked on us multiple times daily. Fun, boutique style hotel with a wonderful selection of art in the lobby as well. We loved the daily breakfast delivery to our rooms of fruit and pastries!

My grown daughter and I felt so spoiled by The Enclave at The Vendue. We drank champagne, enjoyed fresh cookies and daily pastries, lounged in our robes and had our room tidely cleaned every day. One day we napped mid-day then went to dinner. Upon returning our bed was made again! The staff who greeted us every time we returned made us feel like we had our own personal butler. The Vendue goes to such great length on all the details! After debating where to stay, we were 110% satisfied we’d picked The Enclave both because the hotel was so fabulous, it also the location turned out to be our favorite area of the peninsula. For context, we stayed in the cheapest room available and were still treated like royalty. You won’t be sorry you stay at the Enclave or Vendue!

We just experienced a truly lovely stay at The Vendue Hotel in Charleston's Historic District. The Vendue is superbly located just a half a block from Charleston Harbor and within a couple blocks of many of Charleston's best restaurants and art galleries. For a Charleston hotel, The Vendue is quite modestly priced and is a great value. The Vendue itself is an "art hotel"-- it is funky and romantic with changing high quality art displayed in the lobby and throughout the Hotel. Each room has been artistically furnished. Everything (room appliances, bikes, etc) is clean and functions properly. The Hotel staff is super friendly and super helpful. In particular, Allison, Jessica, Chastity, Cameron, Gregory and Nathan all went out of their way to make sure that all of our questions were answered and that all of our need were met. "We need 4 down pillows" - "Sure" "Print us up a list of sailboat rental outlets in Charleston and outlying areas" - "Right away" "We want to eat dinner up on the rooftop, but we want to order from the fine dining restaurant on the first floor named 'Revival' -(one of Charleston's very best restaurants}- "No problem-- the staff will bring your food up to the rooftop and serve you up there." We enjoyed The Venue so much that we extended our stay there. We had so much fun and had such a great time that we can't wait to go back.

For business, it was not the best room for me (I travel with lighting and imaging equipment) as it was smaller and had no desk. How ever, the staff made every effort to upgrade me and make me happy. EVERYONE was polite, courteous, helpful and professional. Couldn’t have been more impressed and grateful for the staff (and hotel perks) as they made me stay really easy and comfortable!

A lovely hotel and wonderfully dog friendly. I would give 4.5 stars with only one issue. For me, the difference between a very good hotel and a great hotel is big, fluffy towels, and this is the only area where the Vendue falls short. Otherwise, our stay was delightful.

2nd stay at the beautiful hotel. 4 night stay and we can’t say enough about the staff. They are amazing. Very kind and very attentive. It’s nice being near the river and enjoying a walk along the strand Rooms are beautiful and we had no issues. Oh, and breakfast dropped at your door morning with champagne and wine events in afternoon. Great art every where!
