Beautiful hotel. Staff very welcoming and attentive to all our needs. Our family stayed here for our sons wedding. This hotel makes you feel as if you are the only guests. Beautiful rooms to retire to after busy days. Their restaurant The Peninsula Grill is just superb.

We plan to visit Charleston again in the near future, and returning to Planters Inn will be like coming to visit good friends. From coffee in the parlor in the morning to house made cheese cracker in the afternoon, and a grand finale of delicious cookies and spa water in the evening...perfection!

We had a fantastic time and were treated well. The room was spacious and clean. Service was excellent and dining both in the courtyard and inside was wonderful with delicious, well-prepared food. The Classic Coconut cake was scrumptious as well. They also provided afternoon lemonade and fruit in their lounge area and that was a nice touch.

We are lucky to be only 3 hours from Charleston by car. We try and visit 3 to 4 times a year for 3 or 4 days. The food is outstanding and there are so many wonderful places to stay. For the money the Planters Inn is on top of our list of places to stay.

Planters Inn never disappoints. A simple elegance and warm reception and stay again defined our stay. There is no better location to experience all Charleston has to offer and the Peninsula Grill remains one of our favorite places to eat.

We stayed at the Planters Inn for three nights in May. The hotel is first class all the way. We enjoyed a spacious, comfortable room with period furniture. The staff was very professional. The location is excellent, in the heart of the historic town. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends. The hotel is on the expensive side,...
