Great place to stay .. located near the waterfront .. a bit of a walk for the downtown restaurants and such but the walk was very welcomed and not out of the way at all... lovely room and nice accommodations.... Would recommend and return to stay with Marie and her lovely home..

Spent four days at this B&B with my college-aged daughter and my sister. The location for this accommodation is wonderful -- we walked everywhere-- theatre, shopping, restaurants. Marie had helpful recommendations as to where to sight-see and eat. There was also parking available which made coming and going a breeze. Bed was very comfortable...and best of all, both rooms have...

What a very special old restored home that is more than 275 years old. We had a beautiful, spacious room on the third floor with two queen beds. The veranda is located just outside the bedroom and is a lovely place to relax. The location is fabulous, close to excellent shopping on King St as well as multiple restaurants. Marie...

This one is close to Battery Park and is a very quiet place to stay. Booked this place as a birthday present for my mom as she loves the antebellum homes. When booked, I was charged an extra $80 for having 2 couples sleep in the same room with 2 queen beds. Should have went with my instinct and booked...

By any measure, this is a wonderful, historic property, built in 1739. The location is near Battery Park and close to downtown Charleston sites and restaurants. There are only two rooms and both are located on the third floor, which is quite a climb and must be negotiated carefully to avoid damage to walls or stair railings. The stairs had...

We took a delightful trip to Charleston for our first wedding anniversary. I was happy to find the Thomas-Lamboll house available for our last minute getaway. Marie and her husband reside in this beautiful antebellum home, offering up two rooms on the third story for guests and including a complimentary breakfast (biscuits, tea, coffee, fresh fruit). We stayed in the...

We were welcomed warmly by our hostess Marie and given a bit of history as we arrived. Our room was furnished and decorated nicely keeping with the time period of the home. We stayed on the third floor of the home which afforded us wonderful views of the city scape of Charleston. We walked to the Battery, East Bay, King...

What a quaint B & B located in the heart of Charleston. Owner was gracious and hospitable. Made us feel right at home. Furnished to the 1700 time period of when the house was built. Beautiful 3rd floor balcony off our room overlooking the roofline of Charleston.

Staying at Lamboll House was like getting a real taste of life in old Charleston. Marie, the woman who runs, it is lovely and very hospitable. She really went out of her way to make me feel at home and accommodated. She kindly responded to my request for oatmeal for breakfast and even served fresh berries. The room was huge...

The positives: This large, historic, 275 year old home is worth seeing--just for the experience of the home itself. It is furnished with period furniture and paintings, and the view from the 3rd story balconey is magnificent. Our room was large with two queen sized beds, one which we didn't use. Lots of space to spread out in. The location...
