This was the perfect solution for 2 friends traveling together. With the separate living with a comfortable sofa bed, plus the extra bathroom, we both had enough space to chill out when needed. Both the living room and bedroom had new flatscreen TVs and ceiling fans. We had a room overlooking the courtyard, which was quiet. The decor feels a...

One thing to strongly consider is getting lodging down towards the battery. At least on the peninsula, The town is really good to walk and a "tad" difficult to drive. That said this location is excellent. I believe it may be a timeshare. The service is good. The upstairs/downstairs is a nice touch. My wife and I travel with our...

The Church Street Inn was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Especially Becky, the Concierge, and Jessica at the Front Desk! We are already looking forward to our next stay there when we return to Charleston! :-)

This hotel was very well kept and the staff was excellent/helpful. The location was perfect for sightseeing, in the middle of the historic district, the market and only a few blocks from the waterfront. You can walk to everything. Our room was great for two people and we had a sweet view of the courtyard. I would return again and...

I was so very disappointed in the rooms my friends and I were given for our recent trip. We made the "mistake" of reserving rooms online (with Expedia)...according to the check-in person (who was terribly unhelpful and quite upset about dealing with any requests), if we had reserved through the hotel, we would have had a better chance of getting...

I had a chance to review the survey that you recently completed. I was concerned to hear about your experience with the cleanliness of your guest room. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize, as that was not the way we typically take care of our guests. We have discussed this topic with the housekeeper who cleaned the...

Perfect location in the historic district. Hotel was charming and had helpful and friendly staff. I would highly recommend if you are interested in being in the heart of the district. Step outside to the market, restaurants, carraige tours, or to enjoy the hotel's beautiful courtyard. In your room, you will have steps to the bedroom, which may be a...

This hotel is in a perfect location, right in the heart of the historic district, near all of the tourist destinations. It is literally steps from the historic market, shops and restaurants. As if the location isn't wonderful on its own, the beauty of this hotel is in the rooms. The rooms are a two story suite, with complete kitchen...

Pros- Great location. Close to everything downtown. Cons- Noisy - Don't get a room on the Church street side. There's a bar/restaurant on the same block that is loud. Cleaning - opened the foldout bed to find crumbs throughout, rugs were dirty Beds - NOT comfortable - Especially the fold out couch! Front Desk person is the valet parking person....

I think it is some type of timeshare or private apartment set up that gets rented out. The reception is very professional, they have a concierge and parking valet. The rooms (at least ours) were like tiny apartments. With that said, the set up is a bit different from your typical hotel. If you're going to be here for any...
