Stayed for a night on a trip from Florida to New York. The surrounding area is very conducive to walking around aimlessly. The architecture of the buildings allowed for a very beautiful drive through the region. They have bikes available for rent to ride around the town which seemed liked a really good idea, i would love to go back... More

Other than the false fire alarm and the self-park management-hotel confusion, we had a wonderful time in the Vendue. The room is roomy and exceptional, with exposed brick and tall ceiling. The cleaning lady is really nice and friendly, she made our day. The service folks in front are exceptional too. We checked out complimentary bicycles to roam the city,... More

There was no one person that stood out, but rather your ENTIRE staff that was exceptional. Unfortunately, we were staying at your hotel during the horrible rain storm from October 1 thru October 4th. With the town being shut down, especially on Saturday, the entire staff overcame to ensure every guest was comfortable, fed, and more importantly cared for. We... More

We recently completed a 3 night stay at the Vendue and prior to posting my comments on Trip Advisor, I thought I would share my insights with you: 1.) We booked over the phone, believing the Vendue to be a part of the Select Registry, who's member locations we have stayed in for several years throughout the country.. 2.) My... More

We enjoyed our stay at The Vendue Suites in Charleston. Our suite was in an old, renovated building. The room was comfortable but could have used a little more attention to the cleaning. The hotel had a nightly wine and cheese reception. They also served cookies at night (get them quickly as people google them up). The location was great.... More

We were so thrilled with our two-night stay here! We were in the top suite, which had two bedrooms (1 with a queen bed, 1 with 2 twin beds) and a full bathroom with corner tub & shower and a half-bath. There's also a little kitchen/dining/living area. The beds were super-comfortable, everything was clean, and the décor was simple but... More

We used trip advisor to choose this intriguing converted old warehouse-to-hotel for our December stay in Charleston, and boy, we are glad we did! We chose a fairly reasonably priced interior room, and were upgraded to a "junior king", room 256. When we walked in, we both were hit by the "wow" factor. French type furniture and curtains, refinished hardwood... More

My husband and I just spent five days at Vendue Suites in Charleston. We had the one bedroom, one bath suite! It is tastefully decorated and the architect designed the space to accommodate your every need - even though the space is small! I enjoyed the high profile mattress on the four poster canopy bed - the bedding was very... More

I was on a desperate search for affordable but upscale accommodations in downtown Charleston for my niece's wedding. Through a TripAdvisor search I found The Vendue Suites not to be confused with the Vendue Inn. Though not available for all 3 nights, we stayed at another hotel on Thursday night then moved to the Vendue Suites for Friday and Saturday... More
