The Meeting Street Inn claims to have 18th century charm with 21st century comfort. It truly is 18th century, but stops there. The inn is in need of a total redo. The paint is peeling and the doors have gaps and cracks large enough to see through. The "deluxe continental breakfast" was comparable to that of any other low class...

The Meeting Street Inn is a charming hotel. We had a problem at check-in which was handled beautifully by the staff. What could have been a vacation spoiler ended up with an up-grade and total relief after a long drive. As noted by others, the location is perfect for exploration of historic Charleston. This was our first visit but we...

We have never been to Charleston and selected the Meeting Street Inn based on it's proximity to...well, everything that's great about Charleston. We were very close to the famous Market and East Bay Street where there is some delicious food. We were about a 15 minute walk from upper part of King Street where there is also great food. Speaking...

The hotel is perfectly located. Well within walking distance of all the interesting sites, restaurants, etc. Good breakfast everyday, wine and cheese hospitality reception in the afternoon. Great for meeting other guests and exchanging comments about various locations visited each day. My wife enjoyed the rooms and the touch of the past with the large four posted beds. Completely enjoyed...

As many other reviews have stated, the inn is in a perfect location. We parked our car (which is about a 3 minute walk from the inn - $15 a day) and did not need to use it once. Our room was plenty big enough and the bed was comfortable. The bathrooms are pretty standard, no bells and whistles but...

Stayed for one night and wish we had stayed longer. Friendly staff, yummy hospitality wine and cheese plus great breakfast. Room with four-posters utterly charming. All within walking distance of nearby sites. Would highly recommend it to others wishing to experience old world charm at its best.

The inn and the staff were exceptional. The inn was recommended by several family members, and we were not disappointed. The location was ideal. Cookies were provided most afternoons and the happy hour each afternoon was a nice touch. Steve, a college student and employee, took great care to make our stay so special.

I was looking for place to stay in the heart of Charleston with historical decor and feel. This hotel location is great! It is right across slave market an in a walking distance from most Chareston attractions. Hotel condition was very disappointing. It is in dire need of fleshing up)). We stayed in double bed room here are my observations...

The Meeting Street Inn is a wonderful, historical inn right in the center of Charleston. The rooms are all a little different but quite roomy and comfortable. I had 204 which had a balcony to sit on overlooking a delightful courtyard and the pool. The bathroom was a bit small but functional, which is sometimes the case in historically old...

From the time of our arrival until our departure, the staff at the inn could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We had reserved 2 rooms as we were traveling with another couple. We arrived 2 hours before check-in time and since one of the rooms was ready, they allowed us to access the room. It was furnished with...
