My wife and I stayed four nights for our anniversary trip. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful and they upgraded us to a room with a balcony. Even sent a complimentary bottle of champagne! It is an old building, but our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice reception every evening with wine and finger foods. It's...

Right on a main street. Free paarking close by (with provided pass). We spent 2 nights and found the location very convenient. The wine and cheese reception each afternoon was awesome as was breakfast. The building is old, but hey, it is Charleston. Very friendly and helpful staff. We would stay again.

Our group of 41 used this hotel as our main hotel during a five day stay in Charleston. Due to the size of our group, and another group booked during same time period, had to use a close by hotel as overflow for our group. Yes found the hotel to be charming, and the rooms to be bedrooms one might...

You can park your car across the street and walk to the Inn or any number of nearby restaurants, museums and historical sites. Hyman's Seafood is just down the street as a great many restaurants, museums and the marketplace where area vendors/artists sell their goods. The Inn is also within walking distance of the waterfront. At five p.m. the Inn...

Long weekend getaway... read the reviews here and bedandbreakfast.com... selected MSI based on them - they were overstatements. Spent 3 nights in March... delightful weather. Kind, attentive service. Nice courtyard for eats. The room though - serious refresh and cleaning needed. Was on the fourth floor (using bumpy elevator)... musty... peeling paint on ceiling... inadequate lighting, one fixture broken... A/C...

My wife and I spent a 4 day, 3 night getaway at The Meeting Street Inn. Our room was clean but in need of some maintenance. The bathroom was showing some mold in the grout and there were several places where the paint was peeling or pulling away. The breakfasts were substantial and tasty, including one breakfast of shrimp and...

Good firm bed. Steps for bed height. Good breakfast. Pleasant workers. Beautiful setting. People generally friendlier both visitors and staff. Good location for garden and home tours which is why we came. Helpful in directing us to eating establishments.

This hotel was a splurge for us..and so worth it! Staying only one night in Charleston we wanted to be right downtown & this was perfect! We paid $16 & got a pass to park our car nearby & were able to walk all over this absolutely delightful city. Cool rainy weather kept us from using the lovely & quaint...

This cute little Inn was perfect for our weekend of fun. It started with a pleasant check in to our room. We were delighted with the complimentary wine and cheese hour, where we relaxed before walking to dinner. The location is perfect for the historic district. We parked the car and never needed it until the day we checked out....

I was going to write a different review, but feel I have to respond to CharlieKo. Yes, the Inn could use a few redo's....the bathtub definitely needed replacing, BUT....they had a lovely antique table in the bathroom for your towels ect., a beautiful floral decorative shower curtain....it looked fine. The place is OLD, not a new Marriott! And I was...
