The Meeting Street Inn is a beautiful boutique Charleston Inn, constructed in the 1800s and a great example of classic Charleston architecture. Rooms are wonderful, many with excellent views of the city. Breakfast is included and excellent, especially if you eat on the piazza. The staff is extraordinary, always ready to recommend a fantastic restaurant; and best of all, the...

We stayed for five nights in a first floor double room. We arrived a little early, but we were able to check in, as our room was all ready. The room was a good size. It had two chairs and a table. An armoire with drawers and a small closet space on each side, a small safe, iron & ironing...

This hotel dates back over 150 years. The location is within EASY walking distance to the heart of the city. Parking for the hotel is not free and is about 2 blocks away, but it does seem to be somewhat secure. The rooms are small, but very nicely decorated in period type furniture. The staff is very friendly and offers...

This is a charming hotel in a great location. Our room featured double four-poster beds. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. And best of all - outstandingly helpful staff! They drove us back and forth to their off-site parking lot, recommended restaurants, provided driving directions and printed my boarding passes for me.

We have stayed at many hotels in the historic district. For the location, the value, the service and the ambience, you will not do better. There are fancier places and there are the chain hotels and motels. If you want to experience Charleston, stay away from them. In the main salon, which is also the reception area, wine and cheese...

The Meeting Street Inn offers a charming stay in a convenient location near Market Street vendors and numerous restaurants. The hotel offers wine and cheese around 5:00 pm in their lobby and may be enjoyed on the large patio weather permitting. A canopy bed highlighted our room. Breakfast offered egg casserole, fruit, cereal, and breads. History mentions a ghost residing...

My wife and I had a very pleasant experience this year. We love Charleston and have been there multiple times in the past. This was our first stay at the Meeting Street Inn. (MSI) 1) Location...Location...Location...Always an issue with any property! MHI is located smack in the middle of the historic district. The market is lateral to the Inn less...
