On March 10, 2017, we hosted a Cousins Reunion with 14 dinner guests. The hospitality and accommodations were excellent as were the food and personal service. The Inn's attention to our requests and to even the small details was outstanding. Two couples stayed overnight. We highly recommend the 1425 Inn accommodations, hospitality, and service.

My teenage daughter and I stayed here while in Columbia for a college visit to University of South Carolina. The inn is located close to campus, and Bill, the innkeeper could not have been a better host! There were complimentary drinks and snacks available in the lovely downstairs sitting room: sodas, bottled water, beer and wine, trail mix, chips, etc....

Wonderfully located in Columbia - close to everything. Went down for a concert at Township Auditorium. Room was HUGE. Exceptionally clean & comfortable. Bill & Carol very helpful. Enjoyed our stay and will go back.

The 1425 Inn was marvelous! Beautiful room, private bath, exceptionally clean, delicious breakfasts, and hospitable staff! I highly recommend this Inn!!! The location is within walking distance of many of Columbia's attractions allowing one to walk instead of drive to museums and other amenities.

I have the pleasure of staying here frequently when in Columbia on business and couldn't be happier with my choice. "My" room-the Gervais- is always impeccably clean and welcoming. I love the Frette linens, the claw foot tub, the personalized breakfast service, and the gracious but unobtrusive innkeepers. Highly recommend!

It is loaded with art, antiques and fine furniture. oft drinks, beer, and wine are served gratis in the evening. Breakfast on the weekends is full course, continental during weekdays. All very good; Bill is a great breakfast chef, don't let him...

1425 Inn is the epitome of southern charm and elegance. The owner Shanna was very gracious allowing us to film our web series Pecan P.I.E. at the Inn. Bill the Inn Keeper was very accommodating assisting us with our set-up. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a manner that promotes rest and relaxation. My family and I stayed here for 4 nights during Hurricane Matthew. Finding this B&B was such a blessing. Shanna and Bill made us feel right at home and by the end of the trip we felt like family. The facility was very impressive with a historic feel and much more comfortable than any hotel we could have stayed at....

Had to take an unexpected trip to Columbia during Hurricane Matthew and everything in town was sold out due to refugees from the coast. Found this fantastic place and Shanna and Tim were fantastic and very accommodating! From the clean room, the free wine, beer, soda and snacks to a wonderful hot full breakfast on Sunday morning I couldn't have...
