What a special beach. We lucked into a two-night reservation (someone's cancellation, I'm sure as this is super popular). We loved it - just sorry we missed the turtle program. Small than Hunting Island so quiet. Easy access over dunes. Clean and a lovely getaway.

This campground is adjacent to a wonderful beach. Nice chairs and beach umbrellas are set up on the beach for campers. There are many seashells on the beach, so water shoes are recommended. This is a sea turtle nesting site which adds to the appeal...More

Stayed for a week, 2 nights camp ground site 26, and 3 nights in Cabin 2. It was a fully relaxing and wonderful place. Great atmosphere if your looking for quiet and relaxation. Charleston SC is about 45min to an hr away for additional variety....More

The other campground which is called Live Oak is about 1-2 miles from the beach. However, there is a state park at the same entrance to Edisto Beach campgrounds where you can pay to park and walk right out to the beach. I... More
