We came to this KOA because we have visited so many stellar KOA's. This one, not so good. They advertise wifi. No wifi - says you are "logged on" but cannot get anywhere - just spins. Staff is incredibly wonderful - the problem is not the staff. Might be owners/upline managers. We could not find a long term parking slot... More

This is a KOA in town. Don't expect a camping experience. It's located behind a Valero gas station and an ABC Liquor Store. You can walk to the nearby Publix for groceries. Tired and grungy park - Halloween haunted house decor all around the outbuildings even though it was December. Sites are mostly not level but the services all work.... More

We arrived very late and the operator made it a point to call us while we were enroute to give us a different space that would be easier to get to in the middle of the night. We enjoyed our two night stay there since it was close to everything !

We arrived after dark to our reserved site only to find a campfire in the middle of our parking slot by our neighbors. The site was so small; our neighbors said that they believed that our slot was part of theirs and that the host said they could have a campfire there . Once we dowsed the fire with a... More

Definitely keep driving far from this KOA. The A/C is non existent, and incredibly loud. The fans were also loud in the floor making wind chime like noises throughout the night...installed poorly. This is actually the worst KOA we've staying at. No one guided you to your site. Dark and dirty gravel roads. We stayed in the more expensive cabin... More

Ok for a quick overnight stay, sites were level and we had a concrete pad,but this KOA doesnt offer much, either in amenities or aesthetics. Wifi is very slow, not much for trees or shade, really not much more than a parking lot. No one to guide you to your site, and if I had not read other reviews,I would have passed the entrance. Beat... Just ok to stay one night when needed to stop on way to a destination. Parking lot connects to Publix parking lot which is a plus if you need groceries. The front desk shares a building with a bar. Seemed like a bit dumpy but we didn't need to use any amenities. Pool appeared ok but didn't use it.

For a campground, this is a little bit more modern. The check in is actually at the gas station that sits on the campground property. The campground is also basically attached to a Publix parking lot, so for the "camping" experience, it's completely lost. As far as accommodations, this place has them. We stayed in a cabin, which was nice... More

When we arrived, our cabin was clean; however, it only had ONE CUP in the cabinet and there were 3 of us! Also, had to call for paper towels. Be careful to make sure you bring your own towels as well as linens. Also, we left a Disney blanket there. The staff took a week to call us back and... More

Stayed two nights while visiting Charlotte. Site was clean and shaded. The bathroom and shower facilities were not working. Good thing we had an RV. Added bonus was a free barbecue on July 4th. Nice touch. Close to the highway and next to food store. Don't know about other activities as we were gone all day.
