We stayed for a week right at the end of the season when most of the tourist orientated tavernas had closed and Elia was delightfully peaceful. Elia proved a good centre for exploration: Githio and the wreck of the “Dimitrios” with the Mani Peninsular beyond to the West: to the East, the extraordinary Monemvasia, the magical Kastania caves and the...

A lovely hotel on the beach, which isn't new, though it has fabulous views & wonderful service. The manager Gregory couldn't do enough to please all his guests. Breakfast on the top veranda is lovely too. We really loved our stay here, even though it was only for one night.

Our family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 kids ) spent 8 nights at this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant going as far as telling us the points of interest we should visit in the area. I especially appreciated Grigori's kindness. He heard my youngest son was under the weather and offered to bring me some...

If you want to listen to the waves all day/night long, you have to stay at this hotel! Seashore is 10m away from your balcony. Each balcony is huge, so you can enjoy sunsets. Beach is 200m away from hotel. Also there is taverna not far away. Breakfast is just amazing with Greek pies and lots of fresh juice!

We received a lovely warm welcome from the owner. The apartment which maybe a little tired, but my husband would say I was being picky... was clean, comfortable and basic kitchenette which was useful. The breakfast was amazing, homemade cakes etc. The view of the sea was amazing and watching the sunset was very special.

If you are looking for vibe, a lot of people around you then keep searching, this place is not for you. However if you want to stay in a quiet, relaxing place exactly at front of the sea with super nice people where you can settle down and drive around and discover Laconia, then you found what you are looking...

The rooms are nice (no frills) with a balcony and a great view of the golf. The beach is a short walk away and the cafe has great food and a nice bar. I went...

A friendly, well managed hotel with wonderful owner operators. The staff at Elea Mare (Dimitri and his son Gregory + team) are wonderful and hospitable. The generous breakfast (with plenty of variety) has terrific hours (for those that like to sleep in) and is served on a terrace offering a beautiful view of the ocean. The rooms are slightly on...

Great value, lovely breakfast setting, attentive hosts, good choice. Wonderful views from rooms and breakfast terrace and close enough to the beach taverna / bar, which was fairly quiet but helpful and good simple food with Cook hostess for whom nothing was too much trouble. Elea Mare is a relaxing spot, which suited our travelling plans, and we would happily...
