We have stayed at Sea Cabins for the past 3 vacations we have had in IOP but the best experience, by far, was in C343. It was very clean and comfortable. The owner was quick to respond to inquiries We will be returning again next year

We have stayed at various Sea Cabin rooms over the past 25 years. 339C was just as good as any of them. Perhaps not the porch/balcony view of the end unit, 347C , but that is more expensive and rarely available. This unit has had a bathroom upgrade recently, no longer a bathtub... just a shower unit. The bathroom overall is very good, clean and new-ish looking. The kitchen area is also very good, well-equipt with large regular oven and large microwave oven. All the kitchen supplies you would expect. Lots of drinking glasses and cups, plenty of dishes. There is a traditional coffee pot, NO K-cup coffee maker. The flooring has been changed to a laminate "wood" floor with a small area rug in the main room. This is MUCH better than the almost full carpeting that Sea Cabins units used to have, Much easier to clean up "spills" if you have young children. There is no ceiling fan in the place, odd since most units at Sea Cabins have them. The A/C works very well however. Still, surely the owners can afford to add a couple of ceiling fans,? The TV is oddly set up, not in the correct aspect ratio and cannot easily be changed. So anything you watch is badly stretched at the bottom. This applies to both TVs, the main one and the bedroom one. Still, TV watching is nowhere near as good as being at the amazing beach or watching the ocean from the porch. There is a grocery store about 3-4 minutes walk from the unit, also several restaurants in that same shopiing plaza, Two early morning coffee shops , an ice-cream parlor and a "raw bar". There are about 8 restaurants within 1 minute walk , on Ocean Blvd. Bicycles can be rented , $28 per day or $50 per week. Rent them from the place about 100 yards past Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream , same side of the road. Overall, this is a great vacation spot and 339 C is a good place to stay.

The unit was run down and old. Pictures make it look nicer than it really is. The hot water handle in the shower was broken and the sink was clogged. I spoke to the vacasa office and the owner several times, and each time they assured me it would be fixed. NOTHING WAS DONE. We had to take cold showers during our entire stay. I asked for a partial refund, and received $100 back, after paying over $900 for the unit. The way the owner handled my situation was embarrassing. She kept saying it was out of her control, and yet she was doing everything to help me. So, which was it?? No control or doing everything?? $100 is less than the the taxes I paid on the reservation! Find another unit that is not managed by vacasa or the owners.

If you are looking for a little get away escape with your significant other. Look no further than this place. This was our 3rd annual minus covid year “Do Nothing” vacation and just as in years past this place did not disappoint. We have stayed in the same condo all 3 times and we hope to continue staying in 247-C for many more years to come. We arrived on Tuesday and left today (Saturday) and only drove our car once. Anything and everything you could want or need is within walking distance including fantastic meal options. Stand on the balcony and enjoy the view and breeze or sit on the couch with the sound of the ocean and the comfort of a fan, either way you can’t go wrong. Each year we plan our stay for a couple of days and each year we add one more day to our vacation. Next year we might just go ahead and book the whole week. ;)

Positives: close to pool and park. Short walk to beach. We really like Isle of Palms and CHS area. Negatives: No ceiling fans, uncomfortable beds, no deadbolt on door -didn’t feel safe. Also, no curtains only window treatments and blinds that didn’t properly fit windows. Trying to sleep with lights on outside all night not a fun experience! Get some curtains and custom blinds made to fit window! Big concern: I received a text at 10 AM telling me Termite inspection was being done at 1:00 PM. Not good with all my personal belongings, jewelry, money, etc… in the room I was upset this was being done on my time! Total invasion of our space and privacy. The termite inspection could have been done during checkout times while housekeeping was in room! Very unprofessional of management to schedule during week of July 4th!! Overall, I’m sorry to say we won’t be back -not a comfortable stay with no deadbolt on door…we just didn’t feel safe! Also, my entire family couldn’t sleep with old mattresses and no curtains. For the price of almost $3k I expected a lot more nicer amenities in condo…
