It is very rear to have absolutely zero complaints about a lodging experience, and this is an example of just that. The grounds are exquisite, with attention to every possible detail. The lobby is majestic. The pool is great, and backs up to miles of beach. Easy access to bike rental on site. Good fitness center, good food options and...

I had the opportunity to stay at The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island again, this stay was much better than the last stay. I was given the opportunity to stay again at the hotel and I must say that this stay was much better than the previous stay. All the people from the front desk to the concierge and all other...

Went here for an annual girl's getaway/50th Birthday celebration. Property is just incredible. Food is great. Service is 5 star. Views are unreal. Grounds beautifully landscaped and so much to do. Definitely pay the additional cost for an ocean view room. It is very pricey, but worth it every penny.

Our room was "upgraded" when we got there, but I think the location facing the front drive would have been more peaceful. They put us on the ground floor facing the other wing and green space where many people, especially children, gathered to play ball. It was a beautiful room and bath, so not really a big problem. My only...

The Sanctuary and its employees deserve the five star rating! We have visited often since it is a short drive from Mt. Pleasant, and have never been disappointed with any aspect of our stay. The rooms are immaculate, the food and beverages are superb, the grounds are meticulously beautiful, the employees are friendly and eager to help and the amenities...

stayed with friends at a villa on the beach in March which is always iffy in re: to weather. Our accomodations were very nice, clean and anything we needed was only a phone call away. Took a gray day to go to the spa, that although a bit pricey is well worth it - we all enjoyed our services from...

The resort is just beautiful and there are lots of activities for families. The spa is amazing and the staff is very thoughtful. We'll definitely go...

I was there for two nights on business. Had a lovely room with view of the beach. Facility was beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Lot of public spaces to relax. There was a yoga class going on on the beach which was very enticing but a bit too cold for me that day. I am told the resort has fantastic...

The weather is problematic in early March when we visited, but we had wonderful weather. The Sanctuary provided every amenity that we sought: Elegance, fine dining, gorgeous beach, world class spa and the most attentive leisure and housekeeping staffs one could ask for. It was ideal for our purposes; none of the venues were overcrowded at the time, and the...

I was recently there for a business conference. First off, the hotel grounds are beautiful, grand and inviting. Excellent food whether catered or room service. The staff is excellent. Helpful, accommodating, no request was too large or too small. I definitely felt taken care of. I had no time for the spa but enjoyed my stay so much there will...
