No hot water. Front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful. Parking lot was a mess. I asked for a refund so I could get a shower somewhere else and was told it wasn’t there problem. 200 dollars for horrible service and no hot water. How does a manger chain hotel run out of hot water? And no manager on site. The lady at the front desk should be terminated asap to avoid future customers of the treatment me and other guest received today.

Hotel was very well kept and clean throughout. Staff is extremely welcoming and eager to please visitors. Local restaurants are exceptional and the staff recommended several good ones with their specialities. No problems at all during our stay and will definitely return when we visit Charleston again.

Woke to no hot water, management had not filled the propane tank. ?? Might have hot water by 11 am, unknown. No comp. Parking lot resurfacing by sections on confusing map so move your car from one section to another by 8 am or be TOWED! It’s a HILTON! Lots of other hotels in the area.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a good experience. The location was quiet in regards to traffic noise. The hotel was clean and in good condition. Not sure what happened but we went without housekeeping and when I asked a worker he only spoke Spanish and slowly told me floors are alternately cleaned, like floors 4 & 6 only. We had digital check in so I’m not sure if that’s true as our last days we had a late room clean and the next day it was cleaned again! Breakfast was slow on the omelette station on the weekend, very slow. Employees are friendly. We would stay here again.

We arrived after our drive from Orlando and was sayin here as part of our package with Hilton Vacation. The hotel is undergoing renovations and the lot was clogged with equipment. When checking in. The front desk clerk who was nice appeared to be lost and at 1st could not find my reservation. After a short time she found it but said that she could not use my pre-check in and the room I selected because they gave it away. I was then told their restaurant and bar was closed tonight because we were looking to get something to eat. Later to find out it's been closed for a month. My room was nice and clean and comfortable. We did have breakfast in the buffet area. The food was not that good. My wife got and bacon and sausage omelet and the meat was burned beyond recognition. I had scrambled eggs which were watery and tasted bad. I was told to talk to "Mr. Ed" who was the cook who is nice older gentleman but appears to have lost his zeal for cooking and all he was able to say is "sorry" and walked away from me. When I spoke to 'Jeffery" all he offered me was 300 hilton points and walked away. After drink and tip, this cost me $45 for a breakfast me and my wife barely ate. You can eat at one of the many eateries close by and cheaper. I recommend the Flying Biscuit. We ate here and it was very good.

The motel was under construction and not informed of that when reservations were made and when we called to speak with them. The room was pleasant and clean. We got the feeling like our room wasn’t finished- no extra blanket, no pens and or paper. The tv didn’t work - they did come and get it working quickly. Only one elevator working because of construction. Ice machine in our floor didn’t work. We did have. View of the bridge- in the 5 th floor. The staff were helpful but not overly- didn’t offer to tell about pool area or exercise room or restaurant. We just expected better at a Hilton.

The hotel is under renovation which was not mentioned when we booked nor in the website . Some facilities are not available . The entire reception bar area is being decorated . No reduction in rates offered. Not much in the area surrounding the hotel , though it is located is just off the 17 so easy access into the historic town centre. You need a car or taxi to access anything.

Stay Feb 1-3, 2024 Staying in Mt Pleasent is a good idea if you’re not staying in lower half of downtown Charleston. Many hotels are clustered by the Ravenal Bridge (which connects Charleston to Mt Pleasent), so you have many choices. I lived in a Hilton Suites for 5 months - I have been loyal to Hilton for years. I am going to skip Hilton Garden Inns and try new brands moving forward. Issues: Breakfast was $20 for what included with a room in other nearby brands. When I went down for breakfast the “waitress” was talking to a table so I got food at buffet and found silverware (was at the bar, not available at the breakfast area). When “waitress”’was done talking to the table of patron’s 5 minutes later, she presented me with a bill. The hotel made no attempt to post a sign or information of breakfast charges - I paid $2 for one banana. No one answered the phone the AM we called down to the desk. I had to ask for bottled water (they should have a water fountain with water bottle filler instead of bottled water as the ocean is full of water bottles). The staff check to see if my Hilton member status was at least Silver before handing me two waters, reluctantly. Main lobby was undergoing renovations. Positives: Room was clean. Housekeeping staff was polite and thorough. Leave them a cash tip if you can. To Hilton: Upon check-in let guests know about breakfast fees. Rethink breakfast pricing. Add water fountain or provide water from a large glass dispenser filled with lemon. Staff the hotel appropriately during the “off season” as not to “put off” your loyal members.

I stay here during off season or when rates permit during the week for business. Hotel is doing some renovations -really only evident in parking lot as several containers are there. Didn't notice any inconvenience or extra noise during my stay- although I was on 5th floor. Still great service and rooms. Easy access to downtown Charleston across the bridge. I like being able to walk to park and get access to the trail that goes over the bridge. About 5 miles to Sullivan's Island I don't do breakfast options since they have raised the price. Prefer to pick up food items at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods which are both close.

Nice hotel. Friendly front desk. Will stay here again. Dog friendly. Housekeeping needs to remember to refill shampoo/soap in bathroom. I prefer bar soap over the liquid to bath. And liquid soap at sink is less messy than bar soap. The one day we wanted housekeeping to clean they didn't come by. Good location.
