This is one of the strangest places we have stayed. we had difficulty finding the owner, eventually with the help of another guest he was located. The original room we were offered had not been made up, bed clothes on the floor so we were shown another room which he said needed vacuuming, fortunately there was one in the 'wardrobe',...

We enjoyed our stay at the Serendipity Inn. We stayed in the Lotus Blossom room. The price was right, the location was about a 5 minute walk to the beach - perfect. The hotel was far enough away from the crowds/noise of the main drag in Myrtle Beach. We had the pool to ourselves on multiple occasions, which we loved....

Quaint, peaceful little place away from all the Myrtle Beach busyness but close enough for quick access. The owner is very nice and attentive. He personally takes care of the guests (checks them in and out), serves breakfast and he even took our pictures for us. His wife makes a homemade breakfast which is served with fruit and other breakfast...

We live about an hour away and wanted an inexpensive place. Found this inn and what a gem. Yes, it is an older establishment with need of some updates in rooms- but it was super clean. We were in the roaring 20's room on the second floor with a king sized bed which was very comfortable. The pool is pristine...

Philip, the owner, was very accommodating. Large pool and warm hot tub when you get Phil to turn on the heater :). Rooms are charming and the breakfast the morning I was there was delicious. I opted for one of the smaller rooms, but saw the larger suites with kitchenette. Definitely a great value compared to the over-priced hotel chains...

It is a small motel that provides a good breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, quiche, toast, juice and a few more fixings. have stayed 3 times each time in a different room. The rooms are nice all decorated in a unique antique fashion. Phil the owner is a bit eccentric. He certainly has his ways of viewing things, but he...

I would not even give this place one star but I had to. We booked a certain room and was told "you don't want that room" so we ended up in a smaller room. On the way to our room there were 2 cooking pots on the floor of a room beside us filled with scrap food. (Not welcoming at...

Another wonderful stay at Serendipity it was the 4th of July week with all the hustle and bustle of the week staying there with our Host Phil it was like a private oasis. There were 10 of us in 4 different rooms each room had its own charm and very comfortable. It may not be the fanciest place but it...

We originally booked a king size bed room and pleasantly surprised on arrival to be upgraded to small apt. with complete kitchen and living room for no extra charge. What a deal for 2 nights. The pool was nice and very clean. Short walking distance to beach. Breakfast was okay, nothing very special. I'm not big on eating egg and...

Wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived as we are a young couple in our twenties and had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before. We were treated very well upon arrival by the owner Phil, he had our key ready for us and walked us up to our room. The rooms are a little dated but the...
