The facilities are in great shape and clean. We were on the north end of the complex away from the water park, which is ideal for those who want less golf cart traffic and avoid the teens cruising in carts each evening. The campsites are well maintained. WiFi is only so-so, but at least it was useable. The management makes... More

Arrived 1 day early and they were very accommodating. Let me go in and select a spot if it was available. Everyone was friendly and the kids had a blast at the water park / pool. Beaches were well kept, in fact the whole park was. The showers and bathrooms were soo clean. : ) Only thing I can knock... More

We have stayed at other campgrounds nearby, and by far Lakewood has been the best so far! There are plenty of activities for the kids - i.e. pool, slides, water park, lazy river, etc, as well as volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, boccie ball, and shuffleboards for the "older" kids - all of which comes with paid entry to grounds. There is... More

We have stayed at Lakewood many times in their Villa's. But this year we decided to give camping at the beach a try. So glad we made this decision. I was so impressed by this campground. Everything you could need without any problems, even cable TV (not that we had much time for that). Lots to do from bike riding... More

Way, way, way overpriced!! $50.00 per night would be high! Clean, but pathetically furnished. Serious lack of security, the only door is a storm door with the usual light duty latch! No closets! No place to keep clothing! One and a half baths, one towel rod, no toilet paper holders. Sleeps six but two of us ran out of hot... More

No problems checking in, or finding our site. Had to spend some time to get out motorhome into the site as the roads are narrow and don't leave much room for turning. Site was fairly level with good electrical and water hookups. The sewer connection had a large crack in the side of the pipe, and mosquitoes must have been... More
