We stayed in room 200. The bed was comfortable but the room smelled like somebody died. The smell was rancid. The clientele was a little shady. 2 stars for the bed. Rooms dark and dingy. Needs updating. Carpet in hallways need a good cleaning. Elevators slow. You get what you pay for!

First off, even if you are struggling to budget a vacation to Myrtle Beach, avoid La Quinta Inn North Myrtle Beach at all costs!!! Price was high for motel, but it was a Friday in July. Typical. Property is a bit cramped. Sits behind another motel. Got a suite room for 5 of us, but the couch did NOT make into a bed. Son slept on the couch. Pool is nice but small. WiFi is the best I've used at a motel. FAST! TV... More

I love it there! I love the location and quality! Clean, up to date rooms. Pleasant staff. Safe environment. this will always be one of my return to hotels when traveling to Myrtle Beach for vacation or business.

Generally dirty, room smelled musty, very disappointed for the price we paid. The Bed was comfortable The front desk staff was pleasant and friendly I don't think they vacuumed the hallway the entire time we were there

We needed a place to stay for one night and boy were we disappointed. Our air conditioning unit wreaks of mold. The decor of the room is completely disjointed. There are few interesting decorative, fuzzy things hanging from the the ceiling i.e. BUGS! Lots of interesting splatters on the molding which resembles some sort of projectile liquid. We found a... the room was clean and fresh. the bed linen was clean. the room was free of dust. the bathroom was clean and the shower was clean. there could have been more lighting in the room. Hotel need an additional elevator to handle traffic had a long wait to go up or down. The room did not have a good view.... More

This hotel could use a serious renovation. The price of the room does NOT reflect the quality. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. However, for the price, I was sorely disappointed by the quality.
