While this website shows it as the travelodge, the email confirmation and their door mat, sign etc show Carolina lodge. It has changed name very recently. The room looked like it have be refreshed by new paint, a new looking TV on the wall, and various other things appeared to have been cleaned up. However the wall paper above the...

I guess they had newly renovated the place. But we lucked out! We stayed at another establishment I won't mention. And the experience was not so good. But this hotel was very clean. The staff was accommodating. We have two kids and they were nice in welcoming them and shared a high five with my kids. Those little things matter....

When we checked in at 7:30 p.m., the clerk never looked at me or smiled. She was all business. We always take the bedspread off and asked for a top sheet to cover the blanket for sanitation purposes. We asked for nothing else (even though there was no shampoo or hair dryer - we had our own). She rolled her...

We were traveling and needed a room and a shower for the night. The very friendly front desk clerk, Parista, checked us in and gave me a hairdryer to use. The room was clean, the king size bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked, and the price was great. Basic, no frills, older furnishings but clean.

Old, Tired "motor court" style hotel on what used to be the main road. Clean but very dated decor. loud Air Conditioner. Friendly staff. Fast WiFi service. Very inexpensive price and perfect for my need. Probably would not return.

My wife had to unexpectedly stay in a hospital down the road from this hotel. While there were many many hotels in this area; I chose this one as it did not appear to be a "chain". I thought without that feeling the service would be better. Somewhere after 8 pm a loud banging happened in the next room from...

If you're looking for a budget motel that doesn't smell bad, then this is it. Don't expect much, but the bed is clean and so is the bathroom. No tissues in the holder and no shampoo or conditioner. You can get a tiny bottle of shampoo from the front desk if needed. Breakfast is advertised but it is also minimal:...

We only stayed here because we were told there were no rooms available in the entire town. As a business owner myself, I hate to put down another business but I can not hold back. Upon arriving, I was asked if I had pets. Nothing else. No information about the motel, breakfast, check out time etc. I was not even...

We had a reason to be in Orangeburg (not just passing through on the Interstate) and needed pet-friendly accommodations. I really don't know why I booked this motel. I guess it looked better than my other option there. Can't say it was price, because after paying extra for the pet and extra for late checkout, I'm not sure it was...

Right reserved a room after reading the reviews on here. I must agree that for the price this is an absolutely delightful stay. The plus is that they even have free breakfast which makes it perfect! I think it was a good stay. I will make sure to come back
