I am only giving one star because you have to in order to post a review. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had in a cabin. The place was infested with cockroaches, the beds are at least 20 years old, there is broken furniture, the stairs are half broken and impossible for a disabled person to use....

this is a nice campground , could not understand why it was so empty , went on a weekend had 67 sites to choose from , we got 3 sites right on the water in a nice quiet cove, canoed and kayaked with no boat traffic , all sites are nicely shaded , great place to camp and fish

First, I want to make it clear we did NOT stay here - and this review is the reason why. We called about making a reservation. Twice. No one answered the phone either time. We left a message, no one called us back. We were in the area, we called, again, no answer. (The phone message says they are open...

This was a beautiful campground all though a lot of the Campers were more permanent. The laundry needs help the lake is beautiful easy access with boat. Very quiet the tall pines sway in the wind was soothing. The pool looked nice but to early in season to be open. put put golf, tennis courts hiking trails if you are...

I just inquired about a position listed with this campgrounds. I felt very qualified according to the description of the ad. The owner Jill informed me by email, even after I called and left my phone number, that unless I can run "heavy equipment" and I apply as a "COUPLE", YOU SURELY ARE NOT QUALIFIED! Hummm...Her tone of "professionalism" was...

campsite was not what we expected, further from bath house than told ( we had three of our grandkids and two of our kids with us), we were at the neck of the lake so we couldn't swim at our site. Booked for four nights but left after first night and they wouldn't refund any money so I spent almost...

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Hartwell Camping and Cabins. The office staff is friendly, especially Ruth. The pool is very nice and clean. Our cabin was clean as well. It's not a 5 star hotel by any means, but it was clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend renting a pontoon boat and going out on the lake. Perfect for...

I came here with family for Thanksgiving week and I have already booked to come back in March. We do a lot of camping and we found this was one of the best places in the area. The sites near the lake are large. The bathrooms are modern, clean and roomy and it is very peaceful off season. I would...

Our family loves camping and planned to stay two nights at LHCC. We rented the lodge as well as their pontoon boat but were very dissatisfied with both. The "lodge" was very small and outdated, the hot water did not work in the bathroom. The pontoon boat had a 25hp motor (entirely too small to power a boat that size)....
