All of the resources we used were clean. We borrowed cutlery, pans and bedding. The couple that run the holiday park are really friendly and helpful, even giving us advice for Nelson too when we checked out. When we checked in we got a banana muffin, which was really tasty! There is a glow worm track that is amazing and...

What a great place to stop on our way around the top of the South Island. We heard about it at the information office in Picton. The welcome given on arrival would take a bit of beating. Hot muffins and free wifi. The ablution block was kept very clean and tidy. There were over 20 others there but everything seemed...

Extremely helpful female owner who was happy to answer any questions. Facilities were good, but a few too many flies buzzing about the kitchen! Was very quiet the night we stayed in our campervan maybe only 4 other vans. We were greeted to a lovely hot muffin each and some animal feed for the goats and sheep. Such a wonderful...

Great hosts, outstanding set up for families on holiday and well suited for bike backers. The motel rooms are great for a family. The holiday farm is well situated and in close proximity the the pub at Linkwater.

Barbara and Chris were great hosts after our team cycling 110 kms and climbing 2200 metres. It fantastic to have accommodation and facilities that helped us to prepared for the next day. Muffins, hot showers, laundry and quiet location plus the extras of a pickup from dinner. I wish our stay could have been longer. A big thank you to...

The accommodation and facilities at Smiths Farm are superb and were perfect for four of us after a day of hard cycling ending in wind and rain - the muffins on our arrival made the day! Barbara and Chris were great hosts even going so far as to pick us up after dinner and a couple of beers from the...

We stayed two nights at Smiths Farm Holiday Park and we had a wonderful time. We felt very welcome. The holiday park is 30 minutes from Picton, so a perfect stop before jumping on the ferry. For tents, there is a large open space surrounded by trees. The price of 16$ per person is very fair. The amenities were always...

Really nice family run campsite. Welcomed by warm muffins! There are some animals to feed dotted around the property (goat, sheep, rabbits) and the children were given a bag of animal food each to go off with - which was a lot of fun. Our powered site was spacious and had a hedge on one side - there are a...

Thank you for your lovely, thorough review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you had the time to try out the activities. We hope to be able to build some more showers and toilets to ease the queue problem but we will not be changing the amount of people that we allow in the...

Stayed in a cabin here for 5 nights. The hosts are fantastic! We even got fresh muffins on arrival, such a lovely touch. From the holiday park, we got to visit the Queen Charlotte, Kenepura and Pelora sounds. Picton, Blenheim and Havelock are all reasonably close, so a perfect location, and very clean and tidy. There are a few walks closeby,...

Thank you for taking the time to review us...we really appreciate it. Yes, the glow worms are superb at present and it is a joy to have them on the farm. If there's still an ounce of child in anyone's heart, these little creatures should bring the full child forth!!Thanks again and all the very best for 2017. Kind Regards,...
