We stayed in the Bullock on 3 November 2016 to experience the Wild West and the history of Bullock. So, we booked a hotel, and without checking all aspects we booked the Bullock. The hotel is an old stone building, dominated very much by the casino on the ground floor. By we were more interested in the haunting experiences, now...

We had a lovely, large room in this historic hotel. We have been to Deadwood several times and stayed at more "modern" places and thought we would give the old place a chance! Very good choice. Will stay again. My husband and brother in law went on the "Ghost Tour" and like learning about the history of the place. We...

Stayed here for a weekend trip to deadwood. The building is beautiful and the historic part of all of it is great! Rooms are nice and spacious-tons of room! We had a couple drinks at the bar and I thought it was odd that the bartender was talking politics and being slightly disrespectful about it. (just doesn't seem like an...

Thank you for choosing the Historic Bullock Hotel as one of your places to stay! We are proud of the history it holds, the size of the rooms and the friendly staff we have working. With the Presidential election still being fresh on all of our minds, possibly that is why it may have came up in your conversation in...

We stayed one night in Bullock Hotel on a trip to Deadwood. The hotel is lovely, but please keep in mind the building is very old. The heat made a weird sound which kept me up at night and the bed was kind of lumpy. Also, the floor could use a bit of a vacuum. The room was fine and...

We stayed at the Bullock after watching "Deadwood". It fulfilled our expectations of being rich with history (you'll want to take the "Ghosts" tour of the Hotel for a full understanding). Much of the building has been renovated, but there are parts original to Mr. Bullock's Hotel. Most of the furniture are antiques, not from the original building, but are...

My wife and I stayed here twice in 2 weeks as we drove between Idaho and Wisconsin. I am a history buff so staying at Seth Bullock's hotel was a special treat. It is well kept up furnished to give you that feel of staying there in the 1800s. The small gaming space on the ground floor is cozy and...

The Bullock is a beautiful old Hotel in downtown Deadwood. It is beautifully decorated with furnishings of the period. It was the first hotel built in Deadwood. They only serve breakfast in the mornings and it is extra. We stayed in the Roosevelt suite on the 2nd floor. It was comfortable and quite nice. It had antique furnishings, bed, table,...

The Bullock under new management is like a whole new hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs. The room was clean and comfortable and well appointed. Bully's still serves one of the best breakfasts in the Black Hills.

Bulloch hotel is on the main street of Deadwood, which like most hotels, bars, etc on the treet, is full of gaming machines and little else. It has a Bar/ restaurant where you can get meals, food is okay although nothing special. The rooms are large but the place is let down by poor service. My room was 'serviced' late...

The family spent two days in the Historic Bullock Hotel and we certainly made the right choice. Our double queen room was huge and for it's age the Hotel is a beauty. Our room did have some "activity" but that only added to the charm. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Don't hesitate to try "Oh, Fudge" or "Bully's" either.
