We spent a weekend here in April for the Forks, Corks, and Kegs event. The hotel is very old with classic architecture. Floors creak, light wiring is visible in tubes on walls, bathrooms are boxy and added to each room as after thoughts. All that said, I will be staying here again. Was way cool to see all the history...

Thank you so much for your lovey review. We pride ourselves on our 1898 renovated elevator. Hope to see you again soon!

Pros: Extremely comfortable beds and lines, plenty of towels, huge, gorgeous windows with a view, a well-appointed, full-sized kitchen with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and the location is close enough to downtown Deadwood that you could walk. Using the 120 year old creepy, creaky elevator was an adventure, and it definitely gave us more than a few laughs over the...

Stayed with friends this past week in Deadwood and dined at Deadwood Dicks for dinner one evening. The staff were all friendly and I had the fish tacos for dinner, which were excellent. Compliments to chef Matt and highly recommend them.

My fiancé and I came to Deadwood with 9 other couples as it was mine and 2 others birthdays. I was excited to book with this hotel as I liked its uniqueness upon reading its website. At checkin, I explained to the clerk so there was no confusion that my daughter and baby were with us until my sister-friend was...

We had a group of 5 and one of the 5 was a last minute decision so had booked 2 rooms. Once getting to the location we spent 15 minutes trying to find where the hotel parking lot is. Which only allows the parking of about 5 vehicle. The only spot left to park had a big mud puddle on...

To clarify some of the statements in this complaint....Your reservation was for two queen hotel rooms and for 4 persons, not five. It is very clear on Booking.com that the Queen rooms are for 2 persons only and under the "Good to Know" section it states that there is no room for any additional beds. You cannot book these Queen...

This was our 2nd time to stay here. While it is older, we enjoy it. We like have the seperate bedrooms and then a place where we can just sit and visit without sitting on a bed. The only down fall is when we went to check out they don't open until 11 and we left at 9. But we...

We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean. Elevator was unique. Staff seemed friendly. -Definitely worth the price. Love my long sleeve t-shirt. The only thing that was different was no one at registration in the morning upon checkout. No breakfast served but there's several nice places to go for breakfast. Unfortunately we didn't get to explore the antique shop due...

Interesting bar away from Main Street in Deadwood, Not on;y is it a bar but it contains a museum of artifacts from the region and beyond as well. The food is cheap but good and plentiful and they have a decent selection of beer. Staff were great and very friendly and for once it wasn't overflowing with gaming machines, just...

Was bummed about how unexciting Deadwood was...left old main st and on a flyer went into Dicks...not fancy, and was nearly empty when we arrived, but the bartender was nice, had great beer on tap and we had an indian taco that was outstanding...gradually more people showed up, and everyone was really friendly including the owner..turned the whole mood of...
