Deadwood DICK's certainly lives up to their name. We stayed at the hotel for Labor Day weekend. The first 2 nights were great. BUT, then we received a nasty voicemail from the owner, Mary. She proceeded to accuse us of hiding our dog in the room (which apparently was not pet friendly) and we had to leave immediately. WOW! Really?!?...

Stayed here during Labor day weekend and loved it. The old elevator was fun, the staff were friendly and our room was clean. We had our dog with us and she was welcomed too. Had read some of the reviews before going and the great reviews are the ones to believe. The people that wrote negative ones must have been...

We ate at the New Mexican restaurant located inside Deadwood Dicks . I cannot find it located on trip advisor so Im putting it on Deadwood Dicks. The food was absolutely awesome ! Some of the best fajitas I've had ! The service was slow , I think the staff was overwhelmed as it was Kool Deadwood Nites weekend and...

Thank you for the wonderful review of our restaurant. You were here on the first night of our" Fajita Friday" event which was a success. Ye, we were busy because of the Kool Deadwood Nites and I thank you for your patience. Hope to see you again next year!

We stayed in room 409, a small room but comfortable and clean in a historic warehouse building right in downtown. It had a coffee maker and refrigerator. The elevator in the hotel was an old 2 gated style...pretty neat. The hotel was only a block away from the parking area where many of the cars for Kool Deadwood Nites were...

We appreciate your nice review. You did have our smallest room but it does have everything one needs at a smaller price. Glad our staff et al was friendly and helpful. Hope you enjoyed looking around the antiques and we certainly hope to see you back again soon.

Deadwood Dicks is a historic building, built back in the 1800. Very kitschy and fun. The room was beautiful with all the amenities (King bed, full kitchen and modern bath) Right in historic downtown Deadwood. A bar/restaurant in the building with a few slot machines to boot. Also a large antique/curio store on site. If you go to Deadwood. Stay...

older hotel but nice size rooms and nicely decor. Beds were fine and lots of space in the rooms. We had a kitchen and the fridge was in good working order. Good value here. Great older elevator that we enjoyed, our teenager kids thought it was fun too.

Thank you for your review. Glad you felt we are a good value as we brag that we have the lowest prices in Downtown Deadwood. The elevator is a special treat for guests that want to experience something old that still runs. It really is a feature of this historic building. Hope you and your family will come back soon!

We were passing through and stayed the evening here. It is a quirky place, with interesting highlights, like the elevator. Our host was great to answer any questions. An easy walk to downtown. It should be noted that you need to ask at the antique store to access the hotel.

We had booked two night at this hotel in May. Upon arriving their parking was a muddy lot. We had no idea this place was also an antique store. We checked in, the clerk took us outside to the door to the hotel. We walked into a very narrow hallway, to an elevator that was from the early 1900 that...

I really don't understand your review? You are upset because there is an antique store in the hotel, narrow maze of hallways in an 120 year old building, an elevator from the 1900's (actually 1898), the Economy room is small, the bedding was old and dusty, the shower is metal and the sink is in the room? We are an...

Loved the room last year and we ended up with the same room again this year. Great value. Easy walk to anything downtown. The only negative was the restaurant changed - last year they were a diner that served breakfast (a very good breakfast) This year they switched to a lunch/supper menu only. I can not say how good it...

Stayed in a large family suite...perfect for us so our kids were able to spread out. We typically stay in chain hotels, but we enjoyed the historic atmosphere and kids especially loved the antique working elevator! Beautiful views of town from the numerous windows. Weather was hot but AC window units kept suite rooms at a perfect temperature. Comfortable beds,...

Thank you for your review. Glad the kids enjoyed the historic elevator. Not certain just room you were in but I will have the maids check all the pillows. Appreciate the suggestion. We do enjoy the fact that families can share our suites and have lots of privacy and room to spread out. See you again soon!
