Wonderful place to stay. Tucked in the hills & woods just outside of Deadwood. Nice, clean, cute & peaceful place to stay. There are no tvs to distract you. It's a place to spend time together. Without all the distractions of our modern world. There is Internet if needed. However, it's a place to reconnect, get to know someone, spend...

We found Maya Jo's bed and breakfast by pure luck and we adored everything about it. The owner, Erin, is an amazing person, nice, warm, always smiling and energetic. Our little cabin in the woods was just perfect, spacious, with nice furniture, very clean... and don't forget the hot tub. For the same price, why go to a hotel? You...

Let me start by saying we have stayed at the Strawberry B&B once before a couple of years ago and very much enjoyed it, however our visit in July left much to be desired. This property is no longer owned and managed by Cathy and Mike who did a great job with this place. A neighbor to the property filled...

We originally had planned to stay here one night last year as the last night on our vacation when we were called home because our house was flooded and our 16 y.o. Border collie was not doing well at all. I was really bummed because I had wanted to stay here when we visited Deadwood. We decided to return and...

My wife, son and I occupied the Harley Suite, which was just perfect. Two bedrooms and a sitting room. Second morning, Cathy told us what she would be serving the following morning. My son, age 14, was disappointed, because we were leaving. Cathy is the perfect host, and we enjoyed every moment at Strawberry Bed and Breakfast. We will return,...

My husband and I were looking for lodging for ourselves and our two grown children and their significant others. Each couple has a dog. The Strawberry B&B was an ideal spot for our weekend get away. The two younger couples stayed in the two dry cabins and shared the shower/restroom facility. My husband and I had room #2. All couples...

We came to SD to ride the Mickelson Bike Trail and stayed 4 nts at Strawberry Hill. Yup, all the prior reviews are true. Lovely welcoming hosts, charming cats, tasty breakfasts, not too far out of town, top of the hill Black Hills setting, etc. makes for a nice package. Best of all; while sitting outside on your deck you...

My husband took me there for my 40th birthday and you couldn't ask for friendlier people and a more welcoming place. Cathy's breakfasts are amazing! The rooms are very private. The hot tubs were ready to go any time of the day or night:)

We stayed in the cottage Abby after finding a great deal to stay at Strawberry B&B. It was awesome. So peaceful, we played chess and other games. Really great for a couple's getaway. The bed is soooooo comfy and the bathroom totally up to date and cozy. Felt like home. But the absolute best part was the hot tub that...

“They had rooms for every size party. The main house had several bedrooms and a living room. To save on costs there were dry cabins with a bath house nearby. I stayed in a room with a queen size bed, it also had a day bed. Plenty of room to hang up everything, private bath, and a refridgerator.”
