We stayed in the Rebecca Adams room and it was amazing! The Bed was very comfy and the hotel was incredibly clean with great charm! We had fresh from scratch scones waiting for us in the hallway in the morning as well as a fridge full of soda and water for the floor! It was a great experience and we...

I stayed in a room in this hotel on my journey out west and found myself in Deadwood, SD. I walked around and all I could think was this is not what I envision when I think of the word hotel. It was more like an old mansion with cool Victorian decor and you were some sort of VIP to...

and near everything downtown. They have done a really nice job refinishing this old building. Rooms were comfortable, yet retained their old-time charm. Staff was friendly, and although it is downtown, we opened our window and our room was cool and quiet on a July night.

I have been here twice now looking at the ballroom, and hotel rooms and the owner Melanie has been fabulous. The first time I came with my son looking for a venue in August. Melanie, the owner spent over an hour showing us everything from the ballroom to every hotel room that was not being used, so we could get...

Attempted to look at this hotel for a wedding venue and made the mistake of asking the woman in the cage who we would need to talk with. Her response, "No. No, you can't see the room... it's being set up for a wedding". I asked if the manager was around so we could get some general info. Her response,...

I would thank you for staying with us, however, since your entire review is based on a short visit to our venue that is a bit absurd, isn't it? I work very hard to make each wedding perfect in every way. This starts with an appointment to view the ballroom, not a walk in demanding to see it, especially on...

We spent the night here as we were passing through. I picked the hotel because of how historic it was, little did I realize how many historic hotels there were! The first floor had lots of slot machines and I was a little worried about the noise but you couldn't hear a thing from the room. They offered free water...

Upon arriving at the hotel, we weren't quite sure where to enter. It's kind of confusing and the hotel/gaming/restaurant/bar have about four different names. Then when you walk in it's not very nicely decorated, pretty dated. There is so much that this hotel could do to make it look better. The whole inside is kind of a maze and you're...

We have stayed here every year for the past 7 years and honestly can say we wouldn't even consider staying anyplace else . If you are looking for modern amenities this place is not for you but , if you want the charm of a historic hotel and a staff that can not be beat or even compared by any...

This is an absolutely beautiful old hotel that has been renovated with the modern amenities. The 12 foot ceilings, original woodwork, antiques and wonderful bed makes this one of the best hotels we've stayed at. I would have loved to see the hardwood floors but I can understand the carpet helps with noise insulation. The decor was wonderful. They had...
