Part of their email address is "samlinda". It turned out that is such an appropriate name. This married couple handles guest relations seamlessly. Besides being lovely conversationalists (and helpful in mapping out itineraries), they make running this business seem effortless (although I know that is far from the truth for this kind of endeavor). They are welcoming and warm, treating...

My husband and I, along with own 18 year old daughter and her boyfriend just got back from a 5 night stay at Mountains to Prairies Bed and Breakfast. They had a nice set up for sleeping so that the boyfriend could have his own little area without having to pay for an extra room for him. They serve a...

We stayed during Sturges Rally for 4 nights. We loved the room and the location was ideal. Only a 5 minute walk to downtown. Loved the furniture in the room. Lots of end tables around the bed and couch and great little table to sit at. If you love antiques you will love the decor. The owners are very nice...

Dear friends...It was good of you to write about your Black Hills experience, and we are pleased you liked the antiques, as we are quite fond of them ourselves! We wish we could have had the opportunity of serving you from the espresso bar, but long ago we decided to serve "dessert" style espresso creations and focus on our Wild...

We met family in Hill City but didn't want to stay at one of the bigger motels where the family was staying - we wanted something unique and fresh and not "big box". Well, we found it and more when we stayed in our cozy Chessie Lees Peas room at Mountains to Prairies. The room itself was comfy, pleasant, clean,...

Dear friends...Thank you so much for the beautiful and descriptive review! It was wonderful to have the privilege of your staying again in 2016 and getting to sample your amazing paleo cookie. The health and nutrition theme that slipped easily into our conversations was inspiring, as well as your love of the outdoors and spending your plentiful energy on the...

Found Mountains to Prairies B&B when another I tried was not available. This was a real stroke of luck as we found this accommodation a most pleasant experience. Linda and Sam have paid great attention to detail in making this place really comfortable and clean. A nice feature is that breakfast is optional. Great location within easy walk to shops...

We stayed here two nights and found it to be extremely clean and comfortable. We only had one breakfast here but wish on reflection we had had them both as the breakfast was fantastic. The owner was really helpful and advised us on how best to spend our time in the area. Without his help we wouldn't have seen half...

We saw the B&B from the road and decided to stop by since they advertised coffee. In addition to being a B&B and serving coffee drinks, they also have antiques for sale. Their ingredients are all of the highest quality, and they even offer lactose-free milk as an option. They make all of their own syrups and jam. The service...

This was a quaint and tiny B&B right in town. Adorned with wall to wall antiques, it provided a comfy atmosphere for our short stay in the Black Hills. Sam and Linda were gracious and attentive hosts and Sam has lots of stories to tell. The breakfasts were yummy but not overwhelmingly large. Would stay there again.

From the moment of arrival to departure, Sam and Linda create an atmosphere that is friendly, welcoming, comfortable, and clean! They have thought of everything to make your stay with them the most enjoyable possible...from the delicious hot breakfast (fresh fruit with whipped cream on top!) of fluffy pancakes, sausage, eggs, and coffee to the "breakfast-to-go" that arrives the night...
