The site employees were very friendly and willing to assist in all matters. When my wife and I had arrived we had noticed that our picnic bench was moved over to the site next to us. I informed the man up front and he promptly came to the site to move the bench. The location is perfect as it is...

Thank you so much for your review! We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and that we were able to be a part of your families vacation. We know it is hard to find the time to be able to get away and spend time with family, and those moments should be peaceful, relaxing and memorable....

We stayed 1 week at this campground at the end of June. The owners were extremely nice and helped us get fed when we got in late our first night. The scenery was beautiful being on Needles highway in the heart of the Black Hills. We spent a few mornings at the pool, which was a great amenity. This campground...

We just left from a week long stay at this campground and we were sad to leave. We booked over the phone (no internet booking), they were very good getting back to us, e-mailing confirmation, etc. when we got there the site they originally booked us wasn't optimal (we have a HUGE tent) so they graciously offered us another, which...

Found this gem through TripAdvisor; stayed 4 nights and really hated to leave. Julie and Paul and their homey staff work 24/7 to keep this campground, pool, amenities including hot showers spic and span! Their well-equipped little store only needs a pot-belly stove as people, including some of the locals, come to hang-out, chit-chat over a cup of coffee (available...

The staff was very helpful giving us information about the area. The campground is very quiet and scenic. The sites are a little tight, we couldn't fully extend the awning, but nothing to get upset about. The facilities were always in decent shape.

The owners and staff are extremely friendly. This was our second trip here. The location is great for many of the local attractions(Rushmore, Sylvan Lake, Needles Highway, Harney Peak, Custer State Park, Sheridan Lake, Hill City) and the staff is well informed of the attractions as well. Probably most importantly the showers are hot and the bathrooms are cleaned daily,...

Our 3rd visit here and it was great as always. There's cabins, tent sites, and they accommodate all sizes of RV's. It's a great location close to Mt Rushmore and very close to the beginning of Custer State Park, which has beautiful views and a fun wildlife loop. Crazy Horse Monument is nearby, still not completed and we've been coming...

We stayed for 2 nights at this RV park in June of 2015. The park is very nice, slightly rustic but you're in the forest it should be, right? The restrooms and showers were clean. The water pressure and shower heads left a little to be desired but again, you're camping not in a luxury hotel. They had laundry facilites...

We stayed at Horse Thief campground for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. The campground is centrally located near all the sites and attractions and that you would want to see and do. The owners are great! We needed a cheese grater and Julie ran up to her apartment and came down with a grater for us to use. The...

We stayed here with our 45 foot motor home. It was easy to get in and out of the site. There was a great view of the mountains from our front door. The front desk people were nice, and very helpful, especially with recommendations for things to do. The utility hook ups for the motor home all worked well, and...
