Our family of 4 stayed in a cabin for two nights. We enjoyed the room to spread out- as we had mostly been staying in hotel rooms. The cabin itself was as pictured and suited our needs. There was a small but well stocked kitchenette that we barely touched. The kids were charmed by the loft. The bathroom is quite...

Loved this centrally located room in the Lodge area of the property. The room we stayed in was large enough for all 5 of us (2 adults, 3 kids). It was super clean and the owners were very kind and helpful. If you are looking for a centrally located place while you see all of the sights in South Dakota,...

We just returned from the Black Hills and had a wonderful time. It is a fantastic family destination. A huge reason why this is so is because we stayed at Mountain View Lodge and Cabins. Two years ago, we stayed at a cabin that had a separate bedroom and a little loft. This time we stayed in a duplex that...

Great location and a great price! Super affordable! About 20 minutes to Mount Rushmore, 30 minutes to Custer state park, 45 minutes to Windcave, and 1 hour to hot springs. Decor was awesome, gave a real cabin feel that I thought was perfect for the black hills! Room was super clean! Kitchenette in the room was AMAZING! It included a...

We enjoyed staying here. The owners are helpful and friendly. We had 7 in our group and rented the Duplex Cabin. There was enough room for everyone to have a place to sleep, and a kitchen area to cook meals to save money on going out to eat.

We stayed at the hotel for one night passing through on vacation not looking to spend a lot of money. The location is convenient and just a short drive to keystone, mount rushmore, and crazy horse memorial. The beds weren't too comfortable, but worked fine. The shower was tiny and would have been near impossible if I was hoping to...

Cabin was clean and had everything we needed; staff was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Had lovely porch and area for campfire so Smores was on our list several nights. We travelled to Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, Lead, Deadwood, Sturgis, Custer Park - saw plenty of wildlife and beautiful scenery Only drawback was a very small shower.

My family really liked it here. It wasn't fancy, but it was welcoming. Breakfast was nice-coffe, tea, juice, milk, donuts, cereal, toast, oatmeal. Basic but simple and yummy. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The room was rustic, clean, and there's a little place right across the road with decent food and great ice cream. It's just outside Hill City,...

The place is clean, good value for the area and season. We got a family room with 2 queen beds and a twin. The room had a mini-fridge and microwave, handy for family with kids. It's right across the street from an adorable mini-golf (9 beautifully done holes) and kids playground, along with an old fashioned ice cream stand, which...
