We rented a Log Cabin on the mountain. It was not the best a bit run down. But it was to get the mountain fell, so I liked it the wife not so much. If you want to try something different then give it a go.

My family was trying to get the best experience possible out of the Black Hills because it was for a short time. This was a great choice. The Cabin was simple, no kitchen but it had everything else. It wasn't very secluded and the a.t.v's zooming by didn't help. The location is perfect and whether your pulling a fifth wheel...

This is a very nice RV and camping location, approximately midway between Mt Rushmore and the Crazy Horse memorial. It has all the amenities and lots of activities for families. Be warned that it is quite pricey for RV's just passing through but, that's what RV guides are designed to do. We had an advance reservation on a busy weekend...

Stayed 2 nights on powered camp site. Is located between Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse, so location is excellent. Large camp ground with camp sites, RV pads and cabins, but although big - and pretty full when we were there - did not feel too crowded. Staff very friendly, camp site clean and safe, facilities in general very good although...

We've been here five or so times, and will continue to return here every year. This is a family oriented park, with many kid-friendly options to offer..yet now that we're empty nesters, we still love to visit. (We're kids at heart). It's conveniently located to many great spots including Mt Rushmore> the only downside is the lack of WiFi, despite...

Although we're not fans of KOAs, coming in late in the season meant that some parks were closed and others had shut off their water, so this was really our only choice. Boy, did we regret it! The front office help was unfriendly, almost surly. This is promoted as a luxury park with many activities and amenities, but they really...

We have stayed here several times, with and without kids. We stay in one of the Kamping Kabins. It's a very central location to see Rushmore etc. The facility was well run and clean (just remember they are shower/bathroom blocks) , enjoyed wicked sundae and the pizza was good value too. We went horse riding twice, the people that run...

This was our first Rv trip and campsite vacation. We loved that there was so much to experience right at the campsite. It's centrally located to all of the sites (mount Rushmore, crazy horse, etc). The campsite was clean and accommodating. We cut our trip one day short and they gave us a refund for the day. Wifi works fine...

Mt Rushmore is one of those places everyone has to visit. The drive in is spectacular and the memorial itself is simply awe inspiring. The exhibits showing how the mountain was carved out was very interesting and informative. It should be noted that park passes are not valid for parking but admission to the monument viewing area is free so...

Yes, there is basically no WiFi or cell phone service so get ready to be unplugged. As a cell-phone addict, it was fine! Go spend time with your family. We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin with the stove top which worked well for 3 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space for everyone considering we were gone most of the...
