We stayed here to go skiing at Deer Mountain with the kids. We rented two rooms that connected and it was great. The one room was large enough that we had plenty of space and the kids loved the garden tub. The hotel staff is always very friendly and accommodating. They have a hot breakfast daily with a variety of...

Friendly Staff but your comfort may be compromised. We stayed on the top floor, not advised. the room was very hot and lowering the thermostat did not lower the temp, when the front desk was notified was told to open the window as the 18 degree outside temp would cool the room. The beds were lumpy uncomfortable. The topper was...

Good morning Joseph, I am sorry that the bed felt lumpy to you. We normally get rave reviews on our beds as the bed & mattress are both barely a year old. Perhaps the mattress pad was slipping. I will have housekeeping check that out, thank you for bringing it to our attention. We are aware that the top floors...

We booked an extended weekend get away for my daughter and myself. I was very happy with the hotel. It was very quiet and staff was exceptional, especially Darla and Patty. We both felt safe which was huge because I rarely do when we travel without my husband. Very nice hotel for the money. The only thing I didn't care...

It's a lovely lodge. Nice clean room. Plenty of pillows on the bed and the bed was comfortable. I wasn't expecting much for the price I paid. I was pleasantly surprised! The first room they booked me into the safety latch was broken. I called the front desk & requested to be moved. They were very accommodating. I was traveling...

Stayed at the Blackstone one night for a nearby wedding. Staff was friendly and allowed us to check in early to get ready. Breakfast next day was good and had a nice variety. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

Blackstone lodge was nice; then again I really don't have much to compare it to. We stayed one night after a long marathon. The shower was hot and the beds were soft, so for that, I am eternally greatful. Walking into the lobby, they've clearly done some renovations which gives the place an atmosphere more reminiscent of the town of...

Hi Derrick, I am so glad you enjoyed the beds & hot shower! Our beds are awesome!!! Yes - our bar only has basic bar food, however we work closely with the Homestake Chop House Restaurant & make sure to keep a selection of menus for the many restaurants that are close to us. We hope to see you again.

My husband and I stayed here in October, for 2 nights. We used it as a base for the northern Black Hills area. The staff is wonderfully friendly, the room and bed very nice, up-to-date and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We would stay here again on our next trip to this area.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are clean and they have outdoor hot tubs. The price is fair and the staff is friendly and professional. This is my new go to hotel. It's just up the road from down town Deadwood, so you can have a raging good time down town, then just ride the shuttle back to...

This place is clean and comfortable. It has a good breakfast and the person taking care of the food was keeping everything stalked up. All at a great price. Only a short drive to Deadwood at a better price.
