This is such an under-rated place! It was built in the late 1800s and every year is decorated in colored corn. Beautiful murals are inside. It's currently used for basketball games, proms, etc...Past performers include Bob Hope, Lawrence Welk, John Phillip Sousa (the marching band man!), Charlie Daniels Band, Kenny Rogers and many newer bands, etc.. The palace is located only about 1 mile off I-90 so this is worth the short side trip. The corn palace is definitely a beautiful use of corn! Complete with side souvenir shops, this free art find is a must see! The palace is filled with unique gifts and beautiful corn art!

Fit for a king, this must see piece of art is truly outstanding. A must see on i90. Very easy to find following the signs and you get to see a bonus bull and bison statue in from of Chef Louie's on the way!

I have always wanted to see this so we did a side trip during our travels on South Dakota. It is one of a kind and so unique. The workmanship is just unbelievable and is even more beautiful at night. Definitely worth a side trip.
