Rocky Top is a small campground (about 40 sites) that caters to adults. It is quiet with nice level site which are not right on top of each other. They have a nice store and very clean restrooms and showers. The setting is very pretty, and though close to the interstate (81), very little if any traffic noise is heard.

Well maintained, well managed, quality campground. No activities for children and the managers keep a close eye on the campers activities when they are in the campground. Interior roads are paved but very hilly; pads are level and utilities are easily accessible. Access from I-81 is short but treacherous with blind hills and curves. Exiting the campground also requires the... More

This is one of our favorite I-81 campgrounds and hubby will drive an hour longer, stop an hour earlier just to stay here whenever we are traveling along I-81. Sites are terraced into the side of a hill, quite level, mostly pull thrus, shady with nice views, and pads of paved or packed clean gravel with a concrete or wood... More

We stayed on tent pad #4. Totally different kind of camping experience than we are used to, but it was really neat. Tucked back behind the RV area we had plenty of privacy on pad 4. Fire pit and 2 picnic tables provided. They have added a super clean and odor free porta potty along with a hose and electric... More

We stayed four nights and absolutely loved it. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and helpful. It's a small campground with 35 RV sites with full hookups, 8 cabins of various sizes and 5 primitive tent decks. The RV sites have either 20, 30 or 50 amp service. Pull-thru and back-in sites are both available. The grounds are well kept... More

This was our second annual stay here heading south to warmer weather. Because we were NOT de-winterized yet, we asked for a site close to the restrooms, which are immaculate and heated. Gary was welcoming and helpful (again). Site was very level with some privacy trees between us and neighboring RV-ers. We will definitely stay here again as we travel... More

Beautiful campground with onsite owner management. Nice level sites with fire ring, grill, picnic bench on cement slab. Pristine bathrooms-even the lights shades were bug free. Close to restaurants. We traveled down one more exit on I-81 and ate at a wonderful family seafood restaurant. We will definitely return to this campground!
