This was our first time in Chattanooga. Valet staff was very unwelcoming and rude. There is no free parking for the hotel and I feel like the hotel's website is very misleading about having a heated pool and hot tub. There is no hot tub. They are only in specific rooms. Which isn't stated clearly anywhere. The pool closed super...

Hands down, THE most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! I loved having a seating area by the TV and a desk. Nice lighting and windows on two sides of the room. The bathroom was a little tight and could have used a vanity/counter instead of a pedestal sink. We had to balance the toothbrushes on the edge of the...

We decided to not go far for our 35th anniversary and we'd never been to Chattanooga for a "couples" trip, it has always been as a family. After much searching, I settled on The Read House Historic Inn and Suites and boy am I glad we did. I had made the reservation through a booking site but chose the option...

Stayed at the Read House for a conference in town... Very neat, historic hotel that was conveniently located, had a good price, and excellent service from the front of house staff. Would definitely recommend Read House to anyone needing a place to stay for a few nights.

We had a wonderful stay for our Honeymoon until we went to check out. We had the worst experience with the lady at the front desk. I have never experienced anything like it. We were a total inconvience to her. We wanted to use our gift cards to pay for room charges. We had already spoken with the person at...

We made a late afternoon decision to stay in Chattanooga and by chance made a reservation for one night. After our arrival and finding out what a wonderful historic place we were in we asked the desk to extend our stay for another day. The staff at the desk were gracious and our room was great.

Historic hotel, very clean and pretty, comfortable and quiet rooms. We had a dog, and for a small $50 fee (most hotel pet fees are more), he stayed and received a doggie goodie bag. Fitness center was great and the pool looked inviting! In the heart of downtown with walkable restaurants and retail!

I stayed at the historic Read House on November 11th. The next morning, I had to get going early for a long drive to Southern Illinois. When I went outside to get my car from the valet, I was lucky enough to meet Taylor Davis. Taylor instantly helped me manage my bags and my very energetic 5 year old so...

We loved this hotel. Room was nice and if you enjoy historical buildings you will love it too. There were some small cosmetic issue, but it just gives it more character. Lobby is awesome! Make sure you explore, many beautiful aspects. Valet attendants were great!!
