on a hilltop with views for miles. Away from the road noise but close enough for trips into Franklin for an event like we had. Accommodations were great with friendly attentive innkeepers. There was an albino deer on the property, reminds me of a Harry Potter petronus. Breakfast was outstanding with a chef's flair. Internet was flakey at times, but...

We had a small family reunion at Butterfly Meadows. The hosts are special people and we were treated like family. Breakfast was tasty and substantial -- I had only only a small lunch each day and really did not need that! This is an amazing secluded hilltop retreat you won't want to miss!

One of my dear friends and I stayed a night at the Butterfly Meadows and oh wow, how impressed we were. First you feel like you are on top of the world. The fall foliage and flowers were gorgeous this time of year (late Oct) and we stayed in Mimi's carriage house. This space was very spacious and had two...

This is a welcoming inn. The innkeepers did everything to make us comfortable. The scenery was lovely. The breakfast was very good. The Inn was not easy for us to find and was not on our GPS. Since the weather was cold and rainy, I would have loved a fire in the fireplace and some cookies as I have seen...

From the moment we topped the hill and saw Butterfly Meadows Inn, we knew we would be back. Located atop a hill in rural Tennessee, a scenic 20-30 mile drive from downtown Franklin, the inn is new construction but is reminiscent of a 100-year-old farm house. Outside, are walking trails, beautiful flower gardens and, yes, butterflies. While we did not...

My husband and I stayed for three nights at Butterfly Meadows. Darlene and Norman are wonderful hosts and will do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. We stayed in Beth's room - the room and bathroom were spacious and the king bed was very comfortable. There is an extensive DVD collection and DVD players in each room. Breakfast...

This was a beautiful location for anything. We stayed her for a scrap book weekend among four friends. The food was delicious and service excellent, and great facilities for scrap booking. I highly recommend it.

Spent the weekend on a small scrapbooking retreat with three other friends. Excellent facility close to Franklin, Cool Springs, Nashville. Staff was friendly and attentive. This is a new facility...about one year old. Accommodations were excellent. Grounds were beautiful and secluded. Meals were delicious. We plan to return.

My husband and I visited this beautiful place first of September. It was the first bed and breakfast we have visited. We were so impressed with the overall experience. The food was amazing! You are treated like family and you feel right at home. We were so sad when we had to leave and cant wait till our next visit!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the end of August. The rooms, the gardens, and the common areas are all tended and decorated so beautifully. From the moment you walk in you feel at home and are greeted by smiling faces. It was quiet, and the staff was very accommodating. Don't miss out on the delicious breakfast...

“We loved the downstairs rooms because they could function as a suite and had a door to the outside lawn. I would imagine the views are better from the upstairs rooms, but we enjoyed the view from the deck before dinner. Note: there is an elevator if you need it.”
