I tent camped here October 2016 and had a very good time. I'm sure the reviews cover the basics of what they do and do not offer here, so I shall not repeat them. I'd emphasize that the staff was the most welcoming, helpful, and positive people imaginable. Second to none, really. If staff attitude was the sole determinant of... More

This was our third in the quest to visit all the hike in lodges in the country. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Charit Creek Lodge. We stayed in the corn crib and really enjoyed this rustic but clean, quiet and spacious cabin. The meals were outstanding and the staff helpful and attentive. The hiking trail to the... More

I did not know what to expect for my first hike-in, no-electricity lodging experience. I could not have anticipated how perfect and wonderful everything would be. The facility is beautiful, historic, rustic, and completely comfortable. The staff members were all amazing, as was the family style food. My vegetarian needs were accommodated easily. This is the perfect place to go... More

Charit Creek Lodge is a historical old hunting lodge with rustic appeal. My understanding is that the Lodge is open in the summer months and can be readied during off season if you call ahead. You can access the lodge by way of the Twin Arches Loop hike or a "long" dirt road. I have only hiked in and don't... More

We LOVE this place! This is our 3rd time at the lodge. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the food is amazing and the setting and hiking is beautiful! In addition to the people who stay there... It is a stop for hikers and horseback riders... Fun to meet everyone coming through. Thanks to Greg, Kenneth and Kate for... More

Stayed here for a long weekend and had an amazing time! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Many different trails straight from the lodge that lead to some amazing sights. The food is delicious too! Amazing family style meals complete with dessert! We stayed in the tree tents and didn't want to leave. A great place... More

Loved our stay at charit creek lodge! We stayed in the tree tent, wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the creek. The hosts/owner were friendly and excellent cooks, the food was delicious! Clean bathrooms, and excellent hiking, we even saw a bear cub! We loved our weekend getaway and would not hesitate to return, it's worth the drive!

Wow! This was worth the drive. The staff, the property, the views, the FOOD! We cannot say enough about this place. It is a must experience. We connected with the staff and had wonderful conversations. I am so glad the breakfast and dinner was in the dining hall with other guests, we learned a lot. LOVE THIS PLACE!

My husband chose to celebrate his 60th birthday with 3 nights at CCL and it was a perfect choice. From the lovely wooded hike in to the delightful "corn crib" where we stayed, our stay was memorable. This is my idea of camping - comfortable bed and falling asleep to the sounds of the rushing creek and whippoorwill. Clean restrooms... More

Another great experience! A group of women took our horses and went to Charit Creek Lodge for a week of fellowship and riding. Gregg White (Manager) and the staff at the lodge were always pleasant, available and courteous. It was clear they love their "jobs"! We were greeted each morning with fragrant aroma of freshly brewed hot coffee, tea, juice... More
