Great location and very nice accommodation. Convenient to everything. Beautiful antiques and lots of ambience. Very nice restaurant. Across from East Tennessee University. Other restaurants close by. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is beautiful, with large rooms, beautiful furniture, comfortable beds, and charm. The location is perfect if you plan to visit ETSU or the downtown area. The walls were thin. I could hear normal conversations in the adjoining rooms. A group of young men kept me awake - running through the hallways, banging on doors, yelling at one another....

Wonderful place. I was in town on business but the hotel was so fabulous I'm thinking about going back for a visit just so I can stay there. The lobby was beautiful, the restaurant was great the room was wonderful (Starbucks coffee in the room, WOW!)

The rooms and bathrooms are huge and the decor feels like an old "grand hotel". It was an excellent stay! The spa was also a huge plus and very nice! I would recommend the restaurant but it is a bit pricey.

This hotel is a gem and a very good value. I stayed in their lowest priced room ($129) and it was superior to a Marriot. Room was very clean, very well appointed, and very comfortable. Front desk and restaurant personnel all gave quality service. And speaking of the restaurant the breakfast was outstanding! If you have reason to be in...

I have stayed here on business several times and without exception the hotel has lived up to its high quality standards. Nice location, very clean, comfortable rooms furnished well, very professional staff, great bar, good restaurant although pricey for the menu. The only thing that could be improved is a light complimentary breakfast option should exist alongside the full pay...

I was in Johnson City on business and my client arranged for me to stay at the Carnegie. And unexpected treat. Amazingly well preserved. Large rooms. Great bath facilities. I would recommend it to anyone.

Walking up to a revolving door, I knew staying at the Carnegie Hotel would be a unique treat. And I was right. The hotel is full of character... so much nicer (to me) than staying in a chain hotel. The front desk staff were very nice and professional. My suite was amazing! I enjoyed it immensely.

First time staying at this hotel. Very clean, room was great. Bathroom was huge. Room service for breakfast no complaints, little pricey but it's an upscale hotel. Was a night away from home for wife and I.

Carnegie Hotel is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. It has a luxurious feel with a historic look. The staff is courteous and very helpful. The spa and restaurant attached to hotel are cozy establishments. I highly recommend this hotel.
