By far this is the most ideally located hotel for exploring downtown Knoxville. The rooms are standard and adequate. Beds are comfy with lots of pillows. The hotel is NOT rundown as suggested by another reviewer. The location makes it very walkable to Market Square, Gay Street, historical sites, & World Fair park. Did not visit the hotel restaurant on...

Hotel located across from TVA Plaza with nice grassy areas for dogs. Despite the nicely appointed lobby and very friendly staff this is a tired Holiday Inn with tired rooms containing stained furniture from various eras. Despite this the room was reasonably clean -bed was comfortable. Our bathroom had been updated. Ladies are provided with a makeup mirror and there...

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a recent trip to Knoxville. The hotel itself is fairly rundown and the rooms are average but the staff was very accommodating and pleasant. It was a little expensive for what it is but the location was centrally located to Market Square and the downtown area.

Chose this hotel because it was suppose to be 0.9 miles from Arena...NOT! Hotel was clean, front desk staff were very helpful in finding a place to eat. Initially were told to take taxi to arena, give them 30 minutes to schedule...we planned around this, then when we went to schedule, would be over an hour wait! And suggested we...

I was in Knoxville to race a half Ironman triathlon. I originally chose the hotel because it was dog friendly. The location was great and the staff were really wonderful! The breakfast buffet was perfect as was the sweet tea! One suggestion - to put out coffee earlier on special occasions when you have many guests with an early event....

We stayed one night at the Crowne Plaza on a drive from Austin to DC. The hotel is easy to find and right off I-30. Self-parking and valet are both available. Check-in at 3:00 pm was a breeze and very friendly, and our bags came right up to the room. The room itself was great--very clean, large bathroom, with a...

Last minute trip and very few rooms were available on a busy weekend, but we were able to use rewards points to book at the Crowne Plaza. Easy access off the interstate. Easy parking and very efficient check-in. We have a very nice room with a great view of Market Street and close walking distance to everything downtown. The only...

The Crowne Plaza, as expected, was great place to stay in downtown Knoxville. Its location was ideal - just a short walk to Market Square and other old city locations. The staff were terrifically pleasant and helpful, the room was well-appointed and clean, though the beds were surprisingly not as comfortable as we would have thought. Although we were on...

This is one of the nicest hotels we stayed at while on our college tours. The people were so friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and we had a great view. The people went out of their way to help you and it's in a wonderful location. The breakfast also rocked. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Spent three nights at the Crowne Plaza Knoxville. This hotel is up-to-date and well-maintained. Bellmen and front desk staff are friendly and accommodating. There is a new chef in the restaurant and the food was very good. I had the Jack Daniels salmon....crisp sear and not over-cooked internally. I would stay at this hotel again.
