We loved staying at Bally Hannon Castle, Quinn, Ireland. The history, the atmosphere, the whole experience, were well worth the journey. We stayed two wonderful days and nights and wished it was a much longer visit. We were three sisters, traveling with one husband, I niece and 1 nephew. We are from British Columbia, Canada. We cooked a lovely supper...

In May of this year I married the most wonderful woman in the world and I did this in the most wonderful location in the world, Ballyhannon Castle. Originally from Limerick and Mayo, we wanted to celebrate our wedding somewhere between both counties and Quin was the ideal location. Ballyhannon Castle will leave you speechless with it's beauty. My wife...

In May of 2015 I stayed in the castle for a night with 13 of my classmates and it was incredible. The facilities in both the castle and the Coach House are excellent. We made a huge family dinner and had a great night hanging out in the Great Room. It is an excellent place to rent out for a...

Our extended family of 18 stayed at this property (the castle and coach house). The castle was an "A" for the kids. However, the accommodations were not an "A" for the adults. Our family has traveled to a few European countries as a group renting accommodations each time. The price paid for these accommodations did not match the value received...

This was a lovely group of four families who all stayed with us in November 2014. I recall they are from Chicago, and they very kindly invited Margaret, me and our two children to spend Thanksgiving evening with them, full of traditional Irish musicians and dancing, in the Castle on the fourth night of their stay when they also, most...

Great location to visit almost all of Ireland. Our family members were able to take day trips to Dublin, Blarney Castle, Galway, and other memorable destinations. The coach house had a wonderful sunroom that opened on to a grassy area where the children could play in a safe, contained area. The owner was very agreeable to work with and gave...

Loved this experience, one of the highlights of my trip! The castle has a great atmosphere and the owners are very hospitable. The castle also has a coach house so many friends and family members can spend the night. I traveled with a group of 18, and we were very comfortable.

Ballyhannon castle is a great place to vacation in Ireland. We went on a big trip to Europe recently and made a four day stop in Ireland. Ballyhannon has great and beautiful scenery including some horses just in your front yard. The rooms are comfortable and so relaxing. The castle has modern amenities that suit your needs while still providing...

We were fortunate to have been able to work within the Castle's existing reservations and make our stay happen. It was the highlight of our trip! Until you experience it for yourself, no amount of looking at photos and reading literature will give you a true feeling for this AUTHENTIC Castle experience. I was able to keep it a surprise...

I cannot get over how wonderful an experience our stay was at Ballyhannon Castle. My brother who was visiting us in Ireland wanted to stay in a castle, and we were lucky enough to find Ballyhannon. I wish I had the words to say what an outstandingly special place this is, and how much we loved our visit here. The...

We just returned from an incredible, unforgettable holiday and I can't begin to describe how AMAZING Ballyhannon Castle is! It is truly an unparalleled experience. A real, authentic 15th century medieval castle beautifully preserved with the added comfort upgrades of heating, bathrooms, and a proper kitchen. Ballyhannon really is everything you could dream of for a castle and more! Pictures...
